It appears that a new marketing campaign video for Cyberpunk 2077 got leaked online. According to this video, Cyberpunk 2077 will soon receive its biggest update to date. Moreover, this video hints at “more things to come.”
This ad was first seen on Instagram and YouTube. For what it’s worth, CD Projekt RED has not issued any official statement yet about its plans.
My guess is that the “more things to come” reference is about the free DLC. That, or about the paid expansions that CDPR is currently working on.
Last month, CD Projekt RED claimed that Cyberpunk 2077’s performance has reached a satisfying level. Thus, my guess is that the team will be now focusing on fixing bugs and adding content to the game. The latest patch for Cyberpunk 2077 came out on June 17th and aimed to address numerous bugs, glitches, and quest issues.
We are also curious to see whether CDPR will implement any major gameplay improvements or not.

CD Projekt RED issued an official statement about this promotional video. As the team noted, this video was for Patch 1.2 (which came out in March 2021).

I think that’s unfair. Yes, 2077 was clearly launched too early. But I don’t think they just went for the easy option – it’s broken yes, but it’s also clear that an enormous amount of work went into it. I didn’t get it at launch but am planning on buying it once it’s solid and stable.

I have zero problems with Bethesda. They’ve released one bad game in 25+ years and even Fallout 76 is good now. No company has given me more hours of gaming joy than Bethesda and no company has done more to keep those games relevant and fun by fully supporting modding in all styles since Morrowind. Gotta say – I didn’t get Andromeda when it first came out, but by the time I did get it, it had been fixed to the point where I had no issues with it. A good game despite a bad launch.

There is NO paid expansion that can justify itself until at least three. Fully tested, fit for purpose, meaningful and worthwhile DLCs arrive in our laps. If paid DLC is done right then tbh I’ve no issue with it and will buy it happily if it appeals to me. What o wont dp is give money to any dev/ publisher who releases NFFP games and doesn’t put right it’s prior wrongs without providing free content to make up for previous transgressions.
Game Devs and publishers get my money from EARNING it not by their be or hype alone. Those who ( imho) willfully deceive have aich longer path to redemption.

This game would have been mediocre at it’s best if it had released bug free. This game has years to go before it becomes what they hyped and we both know it will never get there. At some point they’ll declare it done without half of what was promised and hope we’ll all just get hyped for Witcher 4. And people will and they’ll make billions because consumers like Yeltnerb1 are chumps and the world will keep spinning.

The first CDProjekt game that I uninstalled without finishing it. That says it all. (put 71 hours but couldn’t get into the story and the silly bugs in some uninspired missions)
PS: I bought Final Fantasy XV for 14€ the other day and I’m having a blast with it. Go figure, never played a Final Fantasy game before.

CDPR have made literally like 4 games, and you likely only played Witcher 3 before CP.
On top of that, you say 71hours is a bad thing?
I’m not sure what you are on about the “fake post” thing, but 71 hours without having the will to finish the main story of a game at least to me, means something. Why? Because I always play open world games in a way that I can do almost all secondaries way before finishing the main quest or main story-line. And in this game (sadly) secondaries are bad compared with any of the 3 Witcher games (finished the first and 2nd game twice, and put 306 hours in The Witcher 3 with a single playthrough doing more than 260 or so quests…).
The game always feel weird, incomplete, unfinished…it looks good and gameplay is not that bad, but lacks a lot of interactions and it does not give you a sense of immersion like the Witcher series did.
For reference, I never had a problem with FallOut New Vegas for example (one playthrough with 140+ hours enjoying every single bit of it), could play my way through it and as it happened with Cyberpunk, I couldn’t do the same with FallOut 4 for example. I liked the gameplay in FO4 but the disconnection with the main story (probably the writing) and how the game is structured never caught me as New Vegas did. Then played The Outer Worlds and liked it more than FO4 as well.
Some games just don’t do it for you, Cyberpunk was my most anticipated game ever and never came close to what I expected it to be.
And again…As I said in my other “fake post” (by your judgement xD)…I’m truly surprised with FFXV, expected nothing and got a good open world with yeah repetitive combat but still fun to play with good visuals and some cool epic moments through the story. I’m caught by the game…never happened in Cyberpunk, and trust me…I tried through all those 71 hours to enjoy it and I did up to some point. But the game is not that good, neither that bad…just not as enjoyable as I expected.
As usually…that’s just my personal opinion.
PS: Playing for “X” amount of hours does not make a game good, some games are not that good but make you play for hours through mere grinding or because the systems imply that you need time to do certain tasks or progress through it. For example when a game has slow progression or time gates to advance through it (waiting for something to happen, etc).

CDPR sucks at the optimization of games just look at the early versions of TW3 it would crash for me every 20mins and even years later if I didn’t turn down to lowest settings it still crashed during the Kaer Morhen battle. Even 131 crashes now sometimes. They buy the story from someone else too, so there’s not much other than the coding/UI/optimization that they do really. Deceptive marketing hype is their forte really, hexagram studio like most. TW2 is way too resource heavy now. CP77 won’t bother until DLC comes along, gratis version that is. But patches don’t fix a mediocre hexagram marxist game only the incompetent coding/optimization.
