  1. Yeah. Because Olympic Games themed games come out every month…. Right? 😀 I personally enjoy those ‘Olympic’ themed games, because they are good ‘time-burners’ and I love Olympic Games.

    1. If they had a gymnastics game I’d legit play it man. Love watching gymnastics, something I wished my parents steered me to as a child. So now, as a 38 year old man, I get to watch from the screen and be amazed. I understand what you’re saying but it’s a combination of greed, capitalizing & people wanting to experience the games 2nd hand.

    1. I had the World Cup 98 on PlayStation. I played the game to death. Then after that, I just can’t seem to enjoy sports games anymore. What I remembered most about that game was the sound. The crowd noise was just spot on. The running theme song of the game was, tubthumping (I get no doubt) by chumbawamba & that sh*t got old quick. It would play over and over in the menus.

      1. Ha, I don’t know if it’s the exact same game, but I played it on Sega Saturn, and yeah, it was pretty cool. Before that, on Saturn, I played only Victory Goal, which was okay but more simple.
I haven’t played it in ages, but I’m watching a video now, and it feels like it has aged nicely and I’m sure it can be still enjoyable.

(Edit : OK I’m reading they’re not the same games. lol Many soccer games used “World cup 98” in their titles at that time!)

        1. Love it man, you were/are hardcore. You remind me of my cousin he was an actual athlete and all he played was sports games. Couldn’t catch that man playing anything else back in junior high I lived in Brooklyn, in the 90’s & ditmas ave B. We would have Friday nights reserved for gaming nights and it was just a showdown with, 8-12 friends just waiting to challenge each other. Those were the days man, not a worry in the world. Thanks for the trip down memory lane y’all ?
