Bioware shares new concept artwork for Dragon Age

In January, Dragon Age executive producer Christian Dailey shared some new concept art for BioWare’s upcoming Dragon Age. And today, Dailey revealed new concept art for this RPG.

Although this isn’t much, I’m certain that Dragon Age fans will take anything these days. So yeah, go ahead and take a look at the following artwork.

From what we know so far, this new Dragon Age won’t have any multiplayer, and will be single-player only. Here is also the game’s description:

“The world of Dragon Age needs a new hero – someone who can take on the evil forces threatening Thedas. Get a first look at some of the new locations you’ll discover and the factions fighting by your side in the next chapter of Dragon Age.”

Stay tuned for more!

  1. Every single woke company since 2012 :
“The world of [successful Western fiction] needs a new hero [female and/or not Western]”
    HoW oRiGinAaL N BraVvv

  2. Concept art dont say much about the game play, rather the gfx style. Hope bioware gets back to their roots rather than make mainstream garbage for EA maximum RoI… something their bad at

    1. “Concept art dont say much about the game play, rather the gfx style.”

yeah and this one scream mobile style art.

      1. I feel like this will be extra special feminist with almost 0 man hero. Reflect what is going on with the emasculation of men / boys in the society, and the sjw / feminist rise.

    1. I never found a female char in bioware to be appealing, this one is no different, looks dressed like a Final Fantasy npc, but with male clothes.

  3. they learned from Anthem, Marvel Avengers that adding Multiplayer element in a Dragon Age Series will screw them like no other, i hope DA fans are now happy that it will be only single player.

    1. It was rebooted when MA Andromeda studio got shut down to be a multiplayer game so even if they drop the multi at this point i doubt it changes much. It will probably still be a Anthem style experience but with no multiplayer capabilities, shallow “collect X/kill X” quests and all.

    1. What to say to that… I was going to ignore it like its nothing really… I can imagine some execs would fire him if he would not put BLM support there. That statement about family is not bad… even if it sounds more like political statement than opinion of an artist. But the last claim that “all art is politics”…. well, that is sad statement from him.

    2. Last statement is right in more ways than he thinks.
Easier to ignore alright, Now that he has put that crap out there 50% that don’t agree with politics in games won’t buy it that may have, Had he kept his mouth shut.
1st rule of business is keep politics out of the product you are trying to sell, Otherwise you risk alienating half your customer base!

    3. “Ask me about STALKER”
Jesus Christ, stay the f*k away from my videogames you cancerous blob

    4. A focking globalist wearing a mask and supporting a terrorist group wow!. Anyway I will take the ”free version”or I will never play to that sh!t.

    5. ‘All art is politics’ is a lazy, overused cliche now – don’t like that too much.
Still haven’t played Inquisition, so don’t have any direct experience with the woke, SJW crap supposedly in it. All I ask is if you want an NPC to be LBGTQ, fine… just don’t force me to feel awkward about it, and don’t pin major game story decisions in which I have to render/accept judgement about it.

That said… to ppl crying over his twitter info. Get Over It. Most people have that crap in their bio these days. Maybe not playing DA:I is the reason, but I’m not gonna judge him until I see what’s in the product.

  4. That colorization cliche of highly contrasting blue/red screams medieval high fantasy… Because back then they had big red industrial safety beacons…
If this is they way they are starting… oh well…

  5. I was about 99.9% of the stance to outright ignore this gutter trash anyways. That picture there, just topped off that final 0.1%. Well done, BW.
