Observer System Redux feature

Observer: System Redux officially coming to PC, Next-Gen PC demo released, PC requirements revealed

In April 2020, we informed you about Observer: System Redux. Observer: System Redux was advertised as a next-gen version of >observer_ for next-gen consoles, and – at that time – there was no word on a PC version. Thankfully, this new game will also release on the PC, and below you can find its official PC system requirements.

Observer: System Redux will feature upgraded textures, new animations, models and effects, as well as Ray-Tracing and HDR lighting.

According to the specs, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-3470 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 with 8GB of RAM. For gaming at 1280×720, Bloober suggests an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 or AMD Radeon RX 560.

For gaming at 1080p with 60fps, the team recommends using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 590. Furthermore, Bloober recommends using an Intel Core i7-3770 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 with 16GB of RAM.

It’s also worth noting that the game will support both DX11 and DX12. Not only that, but it will feature Ray Tracing effects.

Unfortunately, we don’t know whether there will be any discount for those that already own >observer_  on Steam. Owners of the first game will be able to upgrade to the Next-Gen version for $5.99. However, there is a catch here. This discount will be available for all Observer Steam owners from today and until September 15th.

Lastly, you can already download the next-gen PC demo for this new game from Steam right now. Do note, however, that this demo does not feature any Ray Tracing effects. Moreover, the demo will be available until August 30th.

Have fun!

    1. a wholesome Keanu Reeves-tier comment

Is Keanu Reaves now synonymous with the word “breathtaking” and “good-natured”?

  1. are we really gonna call new pc games Next gen pc? LOOL The game requires a 6gb video card for max effects.

On a side note… I already owned this game and planned to replay it… So $5.99 to buy the upgrade…. hell yeah I am down! Just did it. Ended up being $6.80 canadian. Sweet!

  2. “go there watch that, come here talk to this guy, now walk over there”
call it a video game and sell to autistic shills.

    1. Autistic shills? What a miserable person you are, always b*ching about something. Is your life that wretchedly unhappy?
