Bethesda has announced that all PC owners of Fallout 76 will receive the Steam version for free on April 13th. All you have to do to get your free Steam copy of Fallout 76 is go here and link your Steam account to your Bethesda.net account before 11:59pm ET, April 12.
If you have done that, you will automatically receive your Fallout 76 entitlement when the Steam version becomes available. Do note that if you do not link your Steam account to your Bethesda account, you won’t receive the game.
Also note that you will not be able to transfer your Atoms or Fallout 1st membership balance between Bethesda.net and Steam. Additionally, Atoms you earn are specific to one platform or the other. However, items you have purchased through the Atomic Shop will be available in both Bethesda.net and Steam.
Bethesda has also re-confirmed that the Wastelanders update will also release on April 14th. Wastelanders will feature human NPCs, new creatures and gear, as well as Choices and Reputation systems.

Excellent news
Wanna hear a Joke?…….. FALLOUT 76!!! <--- Comedy Turm Tragedy & Vice Versa.
No thanks ! I don’t want this online “Abomination” installed on my PC.
even if you get it, somehow it will spontaneously combat and ruin your steam account.
They’re 1 day late for the perfect timing to talk about this game
nice game
HAAHHAHHA
Trolling is an art, you don’t have enough talent for that
? i liked the game
Im actually gonna give this game a chance when it comes to steam. not like i have better things to do.
bannerlord
on a side note… the game is 50% off on fanatical right now. I just bought it. then linked my steam account. So $20 to give this game a shot doesn’t sound too bad
Not too bad but bad nonetheless, i think the game will go F2P, matter of time, going on Steam was the last hope for Bethesda to squeeze some profit from it, it will fail again of course because it’s sh*t, after that they’ll go full F2P with gaas and Fallout Fist (not a typo)
Anyway hope you enjoy your time with it mate, but Fallout is dead and never been really understood by Bethesda (including FO3) in my opinion
Why would you want to add this filth to your account?
I don’t know if they’re just shill accounts, but the amount of people defending this game on social media will surprise you
they’re always around to defend shetty games. they also exist here on dsog.
I think it’s because this game was possibly one of the worst launches of a game in history (no scratch that, it was one of the worst launches of any game in history, no possibility or argument against that from me or anyone I bet)
And they turned it around, massively. How the game is now. Or will be once wastelanders drops and is ironed out…Is how the game should have launched. An extra few years in development. Optional Multiplayer/Co-Op.
That would have been the dream I’m sure, and the game would have been all the better for it.
Now, I guess it’s just people who made the mistake of buying it on release now rising from the blind defense and self-pity and lack of self-respect this game forced on them to actually find they can’t help but admit it is now enjoyable to a fair degree. I picked it up for like £10. And it’s surprisingly fun for about 400 hours.
No thanks ! I don’t want this online “Abomination” on my system installed…
I’m refusing a fallout game that is offered for free, let that sink in.
Warning to anyone having Elder Scrolls Online account linked to Steam. It disables your ability to link your Bethesda.net account to your Steam.
I tried this yesterday, i bought cheap FO76 key for new Bethesda.net account and it cannot be added before i unlink my ESO account.
Bethesda says ESO and Bethesda.net accounts are different thing but in reality they are not even if you cannot login to Bethesda.net with your ESO login.
FU Bethesda, i wasted money since im not using that crappy launcher
Huh? Other people (including myself) managed to link their Bethesda account to Steam while still having their Steam account linked to other platforms such as ESO, Rockstar Social Club, etc.
Damn, I even tried multiple browsers and still I get the same error
It’s £7.99 on cdkeys.com
this game only worth 1$, no more..
I bit when cdkeys were selling for £3. Thanks for this Bethesda.
Id rather get COVID-19.
