Ghost Games has released a major new update for Need for Speed Heat. According to the developers, the March Update introduces the Black Market Delivery. Moreover, it packs numerous QoL improvements and bug fixes.
Going into more details, the March Update features the first Black Market Delivery.
“Once you’ve launched the updated game, you’ll meet Raziel. He’ll give you a call to let you know that there’s a car waiting to be collected down at Port Murphy. That’s only the beginning – as you pick it up, Raziel will give you tasks, and as time goes on, you can unlock new character customization, vanity items and a body kit for that car.”
Furthermore, the March Update adds two new cars. The Aston Martin DB11 Volante ‘19 comes as a free addition. The second one is a brand new paid car, the McLaren F1 ‘93.
Ghost Games has also added a slider so you can adjust the camera shake and added a notification for when you haven’t pause the game in online play. Players will also find new new item notifications, as well as new Vanity Items and Race Visuals.
As always, Origin will download this March Update the next time you launch its client. You can also find its complete changelog here.

we waited for so long for this?
is the game good? i mean the car physiques and cop combat?
well cars handle like payback, meaning they turn, however the roads are very wide with long straight lines, like nfs most wanted and undercover. During the daytime races there is no traffic, so overall cars control very well and you wont crash. The game also has customization for grip and drift, on grip cars drive somewhat between nfs undergound 2 and most wanted, on drift you can hit the gas button twice and turn to make the cars drift like nfs 2015, you can also change that to drift with the handbrake. I recommend you get a real wheel drive so you can use this tactic to turn at high speeds, the game seems to be designed with that in mind, but unlike most wanted 2012 and nfs 2015, cars turn and this is not required.
Overall its somewhere between most wanted 2005 and underground 2 with optional drift turn modes.
As for cops, that happens during nigh time you switch between day and night races, night time races award respect instead of money which you need to get better cars and upgrades. Cops will attack you during the night time but ignore you at day time unless you crash on them. During night time there is alot of traffic during racing and the cops are everywhere, these are not most wanted 2005 or nfs 2015 cops, even the weakest cops are tough, they will keep up with you and hit your car. You have a car health bar that goes down fast so if you hit the cops you take damage, you can repair at gas stations to a total of 3 times per night. There are no pursuit breakers like nfs most wanted 2005, carbon and undercover, so the only way to escape cops is to outrun them which is very very difficult since cops spawn in front of you or find a jumping ramp, which for some reason dont appear on the map. The most you do races and chased by cops the higher the heat level, level heat 3 is hard, 4 and 5 are insane, we taking about helicopter emping you. The more heat you have you get a multiplier system. 3 heat for example means whatever points you earned to level up x3 times as much, so the entire night time theme is like rogue like, you get high heat and you get a ton of points and level up fast but if you get busted you lost all your money so you need to make them up again during day time. Also the story and the soundtrack is meh so its mostly about grinding to make money during daytime, build cars, race and level up during night time to get better cars and upgrades. Overall its pretty good best nfs in over 10 years maybe more but that doesnt say much.
This dlc has one free car and one paid and challenge races which have the widebody parts locked until you beat the challenges, which is the opposite of what this game did, letting you have all the visual parts unlocked from the start.
thats some detailed info, tnx man, cheers https://media1.giphy.com/media/l0MYHEI0xktKCVjri/giphy.gif
something i forgot to add the game is real open world you can get off the track at any point, you can skip parts of the race that way but the game will slow down your car to stop you from skipping too much, everything in the game is destructible every tree is destructible and the game doesnt have crash cameras. During cop chases you can get off the road but if your car is too low designed for the road it wont handle well in the grass to a ridiculous degree. So stay on the road or you will have hard time. Especially with a drift car, if you want to do well in drifts you gotta turn your car into a drift car which makes it hard to control outside the road. Then there are offload races where you gotta setup your car for offroad racing. So there is plenty of handling customization, even the parts you put in your car are designed for different customization, eg there are road tires, track tires, drift tires, drag tire…no drag racing though, rally tires and different types of turbos and superchargers, different types of nos bottles, you can get the cars to function the way you want. Live tunning only changes turning sensivity and height stance.
Does the game have wheel support yet?
yes
I’l pass, call me when they don’t get SJ’s to make their racing games anymore
