Activision has announced that a new Call of Duty game will come out in 2020. To be more precise, the new Call of Duty game will release at the end of this year and is generating high interest internally.
According to the latest reports, this new Call of Duty is a brand new Black Ops game set in the Cold War era. Furthermore, Treyarch will be developing this new Black Ops game.
Last but not least, Activision revealed that it plans to release more remasters and re-imagined games. The publisher will announce these remasters later this year. Unfortunately, Activision did not unveil any additional details. Still, it’s worth noting that a Remaster for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has already been rated by PEGI.

Then don’t remake them, they’re perfectly playable as they are.
If anything, re-release Call of Duty 3 since that thing only ever got on consoles and it’s been pretty much forgotten despite being CoD2+ with some good writing and voice acting.
A technical restyle would be appreciated, they can make it even better if they use their brains.

Let’s be honest guys, Activision’s heyday was back in the Ps1-2/N64 days. Outside of Fable and the odd title in a sea of CODs, Activision hasn’t really put out many noteworthy games in almost a decade. What they have done instead is realease heaps of median and forgettable games, namely, all those mediocre Spider men.
