IGN has shared a new video, showing the first 16 minutes from the new Darksiders game, Darksiders: Genesis. This video will give you a small idea of what you can expect from this top-down action/adventure game. Moreover, THQ Nordic has revealed the game’s preliminary system requirements.
Darksiders Genesis is an action/adventure game that promises to tear its way through hordes of demons, angels, and everything in-between on its way to Hell and back. The game will have both melee (swords) and ranged (guns) weapons.
Furthermore, Genesis aims to give players their first look at the world of DARKSIDERS before the events of the original game. The game will also introduce us to the horseman STRIFE.

Excellent. Pre-ordered. Diablo IV isn’t coming out for several more years anyway.
You really shouldn’t preorder games. Preorder and hype culture is a big part as to why the industry screws us over constantly. You’re putting money on an empty promise. The game wont sell out digitally so why bother?
Just an F.Y.I This developer is worth supporting though. No bull $h!t just a good game(hopefully) from them. I understand if the game is not to your liking but if we do not support the good devs while p!ss!ng all over the evil money grubbing bastage Devs, well then we deserve what we get. This is a newer studio with some old school devs at the helm. They made Battle Chasers: Nightwar a game that paid homage to the old Jap turn based combat. It was not perfect but to me it was a solid 7.5 first entry. This looks to be at least as good, most likely an 8. I will be playing this game, because it looks good to me, and to support a god dev in a time when there are few.
I’ll check it out.
Not sure about this game. I liked the first, loved the second, but hated the third.
i’m sorry for you, man…but i have to tell you that this game sucks! I participated as a beta tester, and this specific game is simply horrible and unplayable! nothing to do with the main series! I really wonder how they could put the name “Darksiders” in a crap like this sh*t!
Ok thanks for the heads up, it’s a shame.
