Kadokawa Corporation, the parent company of FromSoftware, has announced that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has sold 3.8 million copies. This figure includes all copies, both physical and digital, and refers to all platforms.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice hit that milestone back in June 30th, 2019. As such, the game has most probably sold more than that. Do also note that this figure is for shipped copies (most of the times that’s the figure that companies share).
It’s also worth noting that in April 2019, Activision announced that the game has sold more than two million copies.
Since its launch, we’ve seen some truly amazing mods for Sekiro. From mods that add FOV sliders to mods that improve mouse controls, the game’s modding community has been busy these past few months.
Moreover, a mod introduced an unofficial Easy Mode for the PC version, whereas another mod tried to adjust the game’s combat mechanics and make them feel similar to Bloodborne.

Yeah, I did just to see if from software finally got there act together and optimize for KB+M and for the most part its solid. But I feel bad ripping off a non-Denuvo Title like that. Told myself I’ll buy it one day to support. The only games I Pirate are epic exclusives and Denuvo games. The unprotected ones I leave alone till I can but them 1-2 years after release, where they are well patched and smooth.
I got the same feeling, i was planing to buy day one to suport the non-denuvo release then just to get f#cked by the publisher and regional pricing. I could buy DMC 5 and Re2 together and would cost around the same as Sekiro alone.
Yeah, I got DMC 5 & RE2 when I purchased my GPU. I still haven’t played them yet cause of stupid Denuvo. But to be honest if you can get those 2 for the same price as Sekiro, id say go for it. Or just pirate them cause they have Denuvo. Either way it’s a steal no matter what. I’d say get DMC and RE2 to hold you over till sekiro drops.
I played Rage 2, and freakin loved it. So it’s next on my list to buy for sure.

Wow they actually make a lot of money but the budget allocation was totally misconducted. If FromSoftware was given the opportunity to work with the latest tech, their games will look and perform better on consoles and PC.
To be fair, Sekiro does look and perform much better than DS3.
