Manhunt feature

Manhunt Remaster is now available on the PC thanks to this overhaul mod

Manhunt fans, here is something for you today. Modder ‘Danoman’ has released a new version of his Blood Moon mod for Manhunt. This mod basically aims to provide a remastered version of Manhunt by enhancing all textures (resampled orginals 2x), all effects (like particles blood splatters or bullet holes), modifying the AI (more agressive and can see you from a mile) and changing gunplay (guns have proper names and can shoot far away like in reality – shootouts are real fun now).

Blood Moon Manhunt also changes damage input and output for every firearm or melee weapon (you give as much damage as you recive from foes), changes the main menu a little to better fit whole snuff theme (and “Kill the Rabbit” is now properly named “Pool of Tears”), and makes it possible so that every scene can have its own self made loading picture.

Version 2.0 of this unofficial Manhunt Remaster changes sticking out textures to better fit overall level, makes blood a bit darker, further balances damage, makes the crane minigame more effective, adds real self-made HD icons, improves the textures of both Spas Shotgun and the Baseball Bat

Furthermore, and thanks to modder ERMACCER, there is now proper PSG1 sniper rifle model as well as ps2 sickle at the beginning of “Key Personnel”. Moreover, the AI has also been slightly changed, meaning that now every fraction has different running speed as well as health. Also, the health of almost all boss characters has been nerfed (apart from Piggsy which is now superfast).

Those interested can download this unofficial Manhunt Remaster mod from here.

Have fun!

      1. really? i found it very captivating, most modern games are copy pasted this game had alot of unique stuff for a game that had no right to be interesting.

        1. i replayed it a couple years ago and so many things felt tedious and repetitive but still it’s a gem compared to the trash we get now.

          1. exactly back then where they made a game they made it different and the campaign was a work of art and love, nowadays the campaigns as well as everything else is so repetitive and mundane and samey as if it came out from a factory production line.

    1. Yes, but just because you never played before.
It’s one of that games you need to play, but it’s not a masterpiece, it’s just good enough.

    2. Dude! This game is f**KIN AWESOME! Play it…one of the most enjoyable games from my childhood.

      PS – Yeah I was playing M-rated games when I was 9!

    3. Yes, I’ve played it for the first time 3 years ago and it’s a really good stealth-horror game with a decadent urban setting, some tense moments and Carpenter-like music.
