The CEO of Respawn talks about Star Wars, Apex Legends & Titanfall 3

Recently Vince Zampella, the CEO of Respawn, and former CEO of Infinity Ward,  talked to GameInformer about their games and specifically about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

First of all, let me clarify that I am not a fan of EA, but Respawn so far, has done a pretty good job. Titanfall 2’s campaign was quite good for a first person shooter and its latest free to play game, Apex Legends, was well received

Vince looks really excited about their new Star Wars game and he genuinely sounds like a fan. I am a big fan as well but it’s been a while since I really enjoyed anything related to Star Wars… well… maybe the last scene with Vader in Rogue One. Actually who am I kidding, that was frigging awesome!

He also hinted that TitanFall 3 might take a bit more time since they are currently focused on supporting Apex Legends and finishing the Fallen Order.

  1. Last time this guy was involved in anything worth a crap, it was 2009. From the looks of it, all the talent left with Jason West, because there’s sure as hell none left here.

    1. It’s obvious that you didn’t played a single minute with titanfall 2. It is hands down the best FPS game of this decade. Others cant even compete with it, TF2 is lightyears ahead of any other fps game.

      1. AHAHAHAHAH Jesus christ you crack me up. Upvoting ourself are we? Nice way to show you’re a troll.

        1. What does length have to do with quality? Also, you act like the singleplayer is the main focus of that game…

Nevermind me then, keep playing CoD, enjoy your yearly dose of doghsit.

          1. Wow. You really missed the mark there.

I only play single player/co-op games. I don’t touch any of the CoDs, deathmatches, batte royales, etc. So for me, single player is the focus of a game. The author mentioned that “Titanfall 2’s campaign was quite good for a first person shooter,” and the article was mostly about the new Star Wars game, which is single player. It seemed logical to assume that’s what we’re talking about.

So to say. “It is hands down the best FPS game of this decade,” for a 5 hour game is a ridiculous comment. I would hope the best FPS in the last ten years could provide high quality with at least a little more substance than that.

At least now I know whether you were being sarcastic or not. Also, you forgot to upvote your own last comment.
