Yakuza Kiwami is coming to the PC on February 19th

Despite its flaws, Yakuza 0 is a game that I really enjoyed on the PC (Nick also liked it and you can read his review here). As such, I’m happy to report today that Yakuza Kiwami is coming to the PC on February 19th.

This information comes from a new GIF that SEGA shared on the game’s Steam store page. We’ve included below the GIF but here is also the release date in case you can’t see the hidden message.

Yakuza Kiwami promises to be the ultimate and most “extreme” version of the original vision of the Yakuza series, featuring enhanced gameplay, an expanded cinematic story, the return of the battle styles from Yakuza 0, more nightlife spots, and re-recorded audio by the series cast.

SEGA claims that the game will be optimized for the PC with 4K resolutions, uncapped framerates, customisable controls and ultra-widescreen support. Yakuza 0 suffered from some awful mouse camera controls so here is hoping that the mouse controls will be better in Yakuza Kiwami.

Stay tuned for more!

      1. Then ask yourself this, when the game gets cracked why is Denuvo still there 2-5 years down the line. One is left to ask who are they protecting this game from? The Pirates or the honest buyers. This is the million dollar question no one seems to be asking. Resident Evil 7 gets cracked week 1 and it’s still laced with Denuvo, just cause 4 CRACKED Day 1, Hitman 2 CRACKED 2 Days before release. Hmmm, again I ask… Who exactly is the game being protected from days, months & years after release. Because the honest buyer is the only one suffering here, when they can’t boot up their games without Phoning Denuvo Servers weekly or when Denuvo Servers go offline. Like it has so generously done in the past.

Yes I constantly seeing my fellow gamers defending These draconian practices and attacking anyone that dates to complain on steam forums.

        1. We can only speculate about these issues because most of us don’t work in these game devs

To be fair, Not a Hero DLC is still uncracked. Post release support is a huge incentive for these companies to not ditch Denuvo.

      2. ???????????????

cracked denuvo still has denuvo in it, its only emulated not removed, the cancer doesnt go away.

    1. it’s the future and the only way Japanese developers will gain confidence to releasing their games on pc.

anyways, I hope to finally see a Metal Gear HD Legacy Collection at some point from Konami. And a HD collection from Square Enix, Including Bushido Blade and Parasite Eve.
