PC gamers can play Battlefield 5 for free until next week [UPDATE]

Electronic Arts is currently giving away free trial passes for Battlefield 5 on Origin for all PC gamers. This free trial will give you access to both the single-player and multiplayer modes, and will last until next week.

Now while EA claimed that PC gamers should send them that particular hashtag in the next 24 hours to secure their free access code, we’ve seen the team giving away passes even now.

As such, we strongly suggest sending a direct message to EA Help in order to get your free Origin Access Basic trial. That is of course if you are interested in this particular game.

We don’t know whether this is a sign of lower than anticipated sales for Battlefield 5. From what we’ve seen, there are still a lot of players playing this new Battlefield game on the PC.

Have fun!

Update:

EA has announced that the offer has expired.

  1. Too late.

They tweeted “We’ve hit our 24-hour mark so we’re no longer giving out trial codes for Origin Access Basic.” 5 hours ago.

Shame I only hearing about this now I would defi use it.

        1. It’s close to the truth than the ramblings of someone who obviously hasn’t even played it yet.
At least my opinion is informed.

    1. Was wondering why I felt zero excitement and indifference when I read the headline. Not missing out on anything but more microtransactions and overpriced DLC, their real scam.

      The same-old same-old with EA.

    2. Run-off-the-mill games like this don’t excite me anymore. Also, more and more ADHD is the way for the marketing staff to attract more and more people (just look at the trailer). It gets blown out of proportion and makes me think I’m being taken for a fool.

    1. I don’t know if I would say bomb… but there is definitely a bit of backlash considering there is no Russian presence at launch. It appears that they are doing exactly what people complained about in BF1 again in BF5.

  2. If the idea by EA was to lure more people into BF5 and hope that some of them stayed and bought a copy then it seems they would have given more than 24 hours to request a code. Not everyone logs on to the net everyday.

      1. Not really, dude. I don’t think anyone can be online 24/7, and even if they browse the internet daily, they might be busy with some other work/job.

This has very little to do with 1995, or the 2018 year, imo,

        1. I browse “the net” throughout my day every day via my mobile smart device. Doesn’t mean I’m not a busy person with work and family.

  3. Sorry, I’m not educated or cultured enough for this level of self accomplishment. I wouldn’t even play this rubbish if they paid 3 months of my rent…

  4. My 8 year old daughter asked me “Daddy, why don’t people want to play
BFV, even when it’s free?”. I said, “Honey, it’s because dumb azz h0es
did not fight on the front lines in WW2”.

  5. Bought it and i like it but there is a big but dont buy it now wait 2 or 3 month then buy it cause it is buggy as hell and need some balancing like planes bomber is way to op

  6. I played it..it sucked…rubber banding movement…shitty everything, except looks!! its pretty but that game can bite my booty

  7. Marketing 101 based on FOMO using consumer habit psychology in the form of “limited time” codes so people get anxious and grab them up as fast as possible – or even buy it if friends got a code and they didnt. Otherwise people might not care enough.

    Lmaaooo this is just… sad.

  8. Or you can simply waiting for “Italian version”,rather than desperately sending them a hashtag in 24 hours lol…

  9. Not releated to this news but, the so called Valeroa Anti-Tamper that is “extremely difficult to crack before and closely after the game release date” has already been cracked 2 days after launch day.
