Skybound Games will develop the remaining episodes of The Walking Dead: The Final Season

Skybound Games has announced that it has reached a deal with Telltale Games in order to finish all the remaining episodes for The Walking Dead: The Final Season. This is great news for all The Walking Dead fans as they will at least get a proper closure.

In a statement provided to IGN, Skybound Games claims that it has “taken ownership of Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season and will finish the season. Skybound will work with members of the original Telltale team to finish the story in a way the fans deserve. Skybound will continue to update fans on the status of the game on Skybound.com, Twitter, and Facebook.”

We don’t know when the next episode for The Walking Dead: The Final Season will release, however it’s guaranteed that this final season will be completed.

    I’m a fan of the series (in its earlier days, at least) so by their own words I now “deserve” to see less virtue signalling and forced ‘diversity’ than what “the original Telltale team” were increasingly guilty of as the franchise evolved. Either that or they’ve issued some vacuous PR that means nothing whatsoever.

    1. Is The Walking Dead 2 good? I only got around to playing the first one a few months ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I still need to replay it and make some different choices but no matter what it will all end the same way I think.
