New Shadow of the Tomb Raider trailer shows off some of the game’s locations

Square Enix has released a new gameplay trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, showcasing some of its locations. From the colorful streets of Cozumel to the dense canopies of the Amazon jungle, Shadow of the Tomb Raider’s locations are said to be both vibrant and varied.

In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara must master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour. As she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse, Lara will forge herself into the Tomb Raider she is destined to be.

The game will last around 13-15 hours (without the side missions) and the hunting and the equipment will be more important this time around. The main tombs will be very important, will be “more classic,” and will be deadlier than before. Players will be able to swim and dive, and will be also able to use their rope to go up and down walls, run through them, and perform longer jumps.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will release on September 14th!

    1. the season pass is worse than denuvo, its huge….also i gotta say, the graphics are so meh, i just want to see what this “classic” tombs look like, if this doesnt cut it, ill just replay the old games with a texture pack.

  1. Why is Lara still using a friggen makeshift bow? Does she not go prepared into any situation in the modern-day “sjw” series?

Also, this game is published by Denuvo Jr. No, thanks.

    1. I miss the old lara, tall with cool sexy clothing, attractive with dual pistols, capable of acrobatics during combat and awesome tombs straight out of a indiana jones movie.

  2. Dunno if it’s news worthy but Mount and Blade warband Last days of the third age got a massive update (1.2GB to be exact)
new animations, better A.I a few extra quests…
    just letting you guys know

    1. I always appreciate this kind of news so thanks. Tried the mod when it came out and it was terrible, i remember brytenwalda to be the only good M&B mod.

      1. brytenwalda actually got refined
i actually finished Viking Conquest reforged yesterday
it was a blast, probably the best version of mount and blade
complete with hunting, a realistic morale system, lively hub screens, commander options before battles, unique buffers to if you’re a Christian or a Pagan
and of course, a great setting to play (viking dark ages is so rare to see nowadays)

i got my key for Viking Conquest for about 2.50Euros on instant gaming
and it took me about 50-60 hours to finish the main campaign (which then turns into a standard sandbox game with all of your loot and achieved skills, probably the closest thing to Bannerlord in terms of design)

        heartfully recommended ?

        1. nice, the dark age mod for viking conquest in my opinion is better than vanilla, if you haven’t tried it, it’s basically enhanced version of vanilla viking conquest.
hopefully we get viking conquest 2 when bannerlord comes out (if it does).

          1. from what i heard on the Turkish interview
they said they’re gonna do a closed early access to the game in 2019
so my guess is Bannerlord 2020 or beyond

the best thing that made me excited for bannerlord is the Physics based damage system
and that alone, will revolutionize the the gameplay in it’s entirety
i just really hope after all this wait we’ll get a finished, bug-free product…

          2. for me too, the physics in first mount and blade were good at that time and it’s still good in some ways but the new bannerlord improves it a lot.
bannerlord and rdr2 are the only games i’m waiting for but unfortunately some stuff are happening in my life and it’s very likely i quit gaming for good. i’ve got 6 months to a year at best case scenario.

          3. Military service i presume?
in any case i’m not too sure about RDR2, TakeTwo has been doing some very.. questionable stuff
with their pay2win online and blatant censorship on steam forums
i’ed advise you to rent it, since it’s a console exclusive i figure you won’t find a problem doing so…

keep in mind we got Soul Calibur VI next month
and Metro in Febuary (though a very casual looking metro…)
gaming overall is kinda $hitty nowadays, with Publishers appeasing anti-white sentiments and hire $hitskins to develop $hitty games purely to push their agenda

but if you’re like me and you stick to olden games and AA like Kingdom come deliverance and Mount and Blade, you can still find enjoyment in gaming

          4. I’m never touching a console or a console game, not for red dead not for anything else even if i had one more day to live.
I don’t play “triple A” games anymore, ubishet games for example make me depressed. I don’t understand how can anyone get a tiny bit of joy out of games like farcry 5. the only games i play are games that have great modding community which are mostly older games. i was thinking about playing bioshock series since i haven’t beat any of them.

          5. What about RTS’s? i know a very underrated RTS game called Battle Realms
have you heard of it perhaps?

          6. no haven’t seen it before, looked it up and liked it. any good mods that i should keep my eyes on?
my top RTS games that i still play from time to time are wargame red dragon, lotr bfme 2, attila total war and rome 2 total war.
I cannot recommend bfme 2 mods enough specially edain mod and age of the ring. they might be a little tricky to get them to work but combine those mods with gemfx and you’ve got couple hundred hours of pure fun and eye candy.

          7. If it’s lord of the rings you seek i’ed heartfully recommend war of the ring
you can’t buy it anywhere so it’s either a torrent or Ebay
it’s based on the battle realms engine (physics based)
            with Warcraft styled gameplay

has one of the best soundtracks in all lord of the rings games

          8. iron deficiency, depression, hairloss, ptsd, loss of family memeber,
heart attacks, forced to quit my job, forced out of my hometown and finally no money left in my pockets. cancer is good news at this point.

        2. Viking conquest is my favorite too but they took out some features from brytenwalda. Overall both the mod and the standalone DLC are great.

    2. Is there anything like mount and blade but in a more sci fi setting? I heard starpoint gemini is like it and there is a post apocalyptic mod for mount and blade.

      1. there is a huge star wars conversion mod
but otherwise sci-fi or modern conversion aren’t all that well
mostly because the game’s engine wasn’t tailored for shooting
it was more tailored for melee fights

  3. O?oo?a?uh?h D?uu?de?s?s? ! T?h??e Li?st w?i?t?h N?ake?d?-?W?o?m?e?n?s f?r??om yo?u??r Ci??t?y ?w??a?s p?u?bl?l?is?h?ed
    H?e??r?e ?????on : t?u?4?a?.??m?e?/?a??l??b?u??m?-?9?6?3?7??1?0 ?

  4. Yep another title where if I ever do get extremely bored and decide to buy, it will be during a massive sale. Had hopes for this one, but they are just following suit like the other greedy AAA publishers working with PC hw companies against consumers to force upgrades or into closed, draconian, weak performing consoles.

  5. each sequel lara is becoming more and more conservative in her outfits. the whole world is embracing certain religion that suppress freedom of women dress code? and the developers and gaming journalists keep pushing this agenda.

  6. also the graphics look really dated though. with denuvo, i dont think there’s any mod allowed to fix this game.

  7. The setting is great, but I thought that they already released video about locations some time ago. Maybe they run out of ideas. 🙂 Less Tomb Rambo, more Tomb Raider. 🙂
