Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn releases on June 5th

Saber Interactive and Wired Productions revealed today that Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn will launch globally on June 5th. Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn is described as a fast-paced, dynamic beat-’em-up combining modern and classic approaches to the genre, and received an IndieGoGo campaign back in 2014.

In Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn, players will assume the role of Shaquille O’Neal and battle the hordes of Hollywood and hell on a one-man journey to avenge your fallen home and martial arts master. Players will beat down foes with devastating combos, face off against outlandish celebrity bosses, and unleash their fury with a variety of hard-hitting weapons and power-ups.

Wired Productions plans to release a brand new trailer for Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn later today, so we’ll be sure to update this story once the trailer is available.

    1. I think you might need glasses friend, I’m not a fan of this kind of game but in no way does this look worse it’s defenetely an upgrade over that bad 8bit mess.

      1. This looks like a generic beat-em-up mess, just adding 1 more to Steam for no reason. Pretty much any sidescrolling arcade game from the 80’s or 90’s looks better and is more fun.. Also Shaq-fu was 16 bit, not 8 bit.

They probably would have been better off making a new fighting game, but obv Shaq didn’t want to throw down money for that.

        1. It will look much better at max settings 1440p and 4k. Those 8bit console are nothing compard to pc we have today

          1. I guess everyone is missing the point. I’m not talking about graphics, the game itself looks like a crap mobile game. Actually the animation on Shaq 1 was really nice due to the rotoscoping.
