  1. The only usefull thing i got from this was that it takes place in aztec incas ruins. Could be fun, a somewhat open world game in a jungle with aztec pyraminds to climb

    1. Meh, as long as it’s the same dumbed down scriptathon as the previous games, the setting won’t make much of a difference.

    2. Just some information. “Aztecs” were located in Mexico mostly, and the “Incas” were located all across South America from north of Chile up to south of Colombia (most known ruins are from Machu Picchu, Perú).

Perhaps you meant to say “Mayas” instead of “Incas”. Mayas were located mostly in Yucatan, Mexico and some parts of Central America (Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras). Also they were there centuries before the Aztecs and the Incas.

I’m not 100% sure if those pyramids in the trailer are from the Mayas or Aztecs because constructions were quite similar, but sure Incas made things quite different in comparison to both of them.

Now judging by the symbols like the Sun and the Moon (the eclipse in the game is also a huge hint), it could be either Maya or Aztec related. (Incas alone with Aztecs and Mayas also were called “the people of the Sun” since they also worshiped the Sun and all natural elements as “gods” or “deity”).

That’s it with the history class mate, let’s go back to gaming! 😉

  2. The first message on screen being “Not actual gameplay”. Surely even the easily pleased console peasantry are jaded by these CGI video trailers nowadays?

    1. “. Surely even the easily pleased console peasantry are jaded by these CGI video trailers nowadays?”

There’s no reason to take the high ground when PC platform is also being mobbed by peasantry lol.

  3. Game industry hyping CGI trailers, reveals with no gameplay? Shocking.

It looks like it’s going to be a Mayan setting, so that piques my interest.

    1. Oh god.masterpiece?now we call “at best averages” masterpieces?honestly even average is optimistic.
