    1. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket… it uses Uplay anyway. You can also find the Batman Arkham games on Origin.

      1. You don’t know what a monoloply is if you think Steam is one, there is competition to Steam and has been for years. GOG, Uplay, Origin, cdkeys, Greenman gaming ect.

If you want to know what a real monolopoly is, it’s Windows, it literally has no real competition and has dominated the PC platform since the 90s, even the U.S government had to split parts Microsoft up in the 90s it was that bad. Also, the default app UI in Windows you see in all the versions, that’s because of the mIcrosoft was ordered to do it so their apps can’t be default all the time.

      1. Unfortunatly it doesn’t keep PC game prices low as the games are about the same price in all the stores. Ubisoft AAA games are £50 in Steam and Uplay, that’s not competition. What is competition is third parties like cdkeys as more front end stores don’t mean lower prices.

      2. While I totally support everything GOG stands for. I do think that the stupid Uplay and Origin stores are a barrier for me purchasing their titles. I actually don’t even have BF or NFS installed, because I didn’t want to be troubled. I don’t really support them anyway, but this is just another reason not to.

    1. Origin is fine as it is. WAY better and not as intrusive than Uplay. It’s also not as bad as people make it out to be.

  1. Titanfall 2 for $10. I will pick that up. I only want it for the single player campaign which is short but maybe worth the $10. We’ll see. I tend to replay games if they are fun. I have 5 games on Origin because they aren’t on Steam but I have only paid $10 for each of them.

What I’m really looking forward to is the Steam Winter Sale that starts today in about 5 1/2 hours. Hoping for a good sale this time around. Be good to us Gaben.

  2. surprisingly ubisoft games are cheaper on origin. Question: do I have to connect with uplay if I purchase an ubisoft game on origin?
