Well, you gotta love modders. YouTube’s ‘Bolloxed’ has released a video showcasing Half-Life being recreated in Doom. Yeap, you read that right. You can actually play Half-Life (or at least a game resembling it) in Doom via this mod, and let us tell you that the mod looks surprisingly good. Here is the intro scene from the first Unreal game being recreated in Unreal Engine 4
Unreal was a really mind-blowing game – graphics and tech wise – when it was released back in 1998. And who can forget that mesmerising fly-by intro scene? Ah, the memories. But anyway, YouTube’s ‘Tomasz Szab?owski’ has recreated that scene in Unreal Engine 4. Tomasz has done an outstanding job, although I do have to note that I really miss the fog effects that are nowhere to be found in the UE4 recreation. Moreover, I feel that the moonlight is too strong. Nevertheless, it’s a pretty cool recreation so be sure to check it out (we’ve also included the original fly-by intro scene). Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 releases on October 28th, gets new trailer
Bandai Namco announced today that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be released on October 28th, and has released a new trailer for it. Based on the massive success of the first game, Xenoverse 2 will be an action-fighting game with MMO and RPG elements. Report: Total War: WARHAMMER runs 27% slower in DX12 on NVIDIA’s hardware
Creative Assembly has just released the DX12 patch for Total War: WARHAMMER. And while the game’s DX12 renderer is still in beta stage, it appears that there are no benefits at all for NVIDIA users. In fact, the DX12 renderer for Total War: WARHAMMER comes with a significant performance hit on NVIDIA’s hardware, something that undoubtedly surprised us.
