CD Projekt RED has released a new gameplay trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt you become Geralt of Rivia, a monster slayer for hire. You take on the greatest contract of your life — tracking down the Child of Prophecy, a living weapon that can alter the shape of the world.
Your journey will take you across the Northern Realms, a vast continent filled with merchant cities, mysterious islands, dangerous mountain passes, and forgotten caverns to explore.
The game is planned for a May release.
Enjoy!

Ancient rituals? CD Project knows exactly what their fans want.
Hehe CD Projekt Red’s overuse of the world mature is in direct conflict with the cheap tactics named “ancient rituals” which are there to address the exploding hormones of teenagers.
It’s sad that it’s 2015 and videogames are still afraid to make the big step forward and be a proper, mature form of entertainment that can appeal thematically to a broader audience.
Might have something to do with the books though. Have not read them so I could be wrong.

god this looks sooo good
nooooooo, there wasn’t any downgrade, nope nope.
the game still looks great, though.
Nice little trailer to remind us what to expect in several weeks. Can’t believe I’ve waited this long.
The narrator threw me off a little bit because it felt so methodical and a little bit mechanical. It’s still good but for some reason it reminded me of CDP’s still-in-progress Cyberpunk.
F***ing GLORIOUS!!! Watch and learn Rockstar. This is how you make a dark world, not by adding cheap jokes (and delaying PC version). Can’t f***ing WAIT.
It started looking good to you ? I thought you started hating because of the FUD that’s called “Downgrade” 😀 ?
Unlike fanboys, I’m not blind and can see the truth and they’ve admitted that they’ve replaced assets after people’s concerns. Look and feel of the game is still different than what it was before. But I’ve never said that the game looks bad, just not as good as early trailers. Meanwhile, if you are gamespot user then you should check out my hype thread… As I mentioned before, I’m a Witcher fan but not a blind one.
Fanboys and haters both are blind. Like the confession about assets, they also claimed many times that the game is not downgraded, it could be some tests that looked worse and got removed, the fact is the final builds are looking great, specially the IGN gameplay and recent 5m game play trailer.
Any uncompressed video link? Youtube compression sucks!

Thanks! 800 mb worth of premium video quality is always welcome.
super pumped! look at the cliffs!
I hope PC UI will be better than this !!! W3 Steam Day 1 1080p Ultra 😉
GOTY either this or MGS V.
now watch as critics give this game the same score as bloodborne or maybe lower. you can swim, ride boats, participate in rituals etc all new mechanics in witcher universe while bloodborne is just a reskin of previous games with health regeneration and no shield.
sigh.

That was absolutely EPIC!!! My god they have really went above and beyond with the open world by the looks of things. I cannot wait to explore every inch of it, I won’t leave the house for months ha!
