Bloober Team has released an official live action trailer for The Medium. And, to be honest, it appears that this game would actually make a great horror movie. Now I’m not saying that the game won’t be worth it, however, a movie adaptation would actually make a lot of sense.
In The Medium, players will discover a dark mystery only a medium can solve. Players will explore the real world and the spirit world at the same time. Players can also use their psychic abilities to solve puzzles spanning both worlds, uncover deeply disturbing secrets. Furthermore, players will face and survive encounters with The Maw; a monster born from an unspeakable tragedy.
The Medium will release in January 2021. Bloober Team has also detailed the game’s Ray Tracing effects. Additionally, here are its official PC system requirements.
Enjoy!

That was pretty cool trailer.
I don’t know WTF is going on but it is interesting.
anyone thinks this would make a better movie than a game?
Precisely the question I was gonna pose!
Game sounds interesting, but I don’t understand why anyone even watches non-gameplay trailers. So they can see the art direction? No thanks, if it werent for the gameplay mechanics then this game would be just another generic walking sim.
Pretty sure Murdered: Soul Suspect had very similar mechanics though.
It’s exactly that though. I don’t count occasional pressing X to do something while character narrates the whole thing as gameplay.
Downloading now so I’ll find out soon. The music being composed by 2 different well known horror game composers (1 for normal zone, 1 for ghosts zone I’m assuming) sounds kinda cool.
This really should’ve been made into a movie/short tv series.
