Arise of Awakener feature

Ten minutes of gameplay footage from the Dragon’s Dogma-inspired action RPG, Arise of Awakener

Gamera Game has shared a new developer diary for its Dragon’s Dogma-inspired action RPG, Arise of Awakener. This new dev diary packs ten minutes of brand new gameplay footage, so we strongly suggest watching it.

Do note that this dev diary is in Chinese, so you won’t probably understand anything. Still, it will give you an idea of how the game plays.

Arise of Awakener is a single-player, open-map action role-playing game set in a fantasy world based upon medieval Europe. In this world, players will ride dragons, command airships, and partake in engaging combat encounters against a collection of fantastical creatures as they take on the role of an adventurer and embark on a path of revenge and redemption.

Gamera Game plans to release Arise of Awakener in 2023.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

    1. How many chinese games have you played? I think i played only one metroidvania called Pronty: Fishy adventure and it was pretty good.

  1. What baffles me is the love for sparks by the ching-chong. Player moves in water? Sparks! Breath? Sparks, of course! Wave hello? Believe or not, sparks!
And this shlt looks generic af. These lads love a ctrlC-ctrlV

  2. China will take over the triple A industry, as they have done everything else. Long time comming and f*k all those EA, KKvision, Crapysoft turds.

  3. you do realise there is limited number or styles and settings, its not generic you simply played too many games so nothing is new for you. Remember there are people that may consider it first fantasy rpg they played etc, for them its super fresh. Also not everything needs to be new and original to be good…

    1. I disagree. There are unlimited styles of settings out there to explore, but most people aren’t creative enough but to stick with what have been working. Medieval being the most overly used by far.
