The official Facebook page for Star Wars Battlefront has revealed the first gameplay footage from the PC version. In the following video, we get to see the PC build in action, showing off the Survival Mission on Tatooine. Star Wars: Battlefront is powered by the Frostbite 3 engine and is scheduled for a November 17th release. Enjoy!

What does taking a beloved franchise, stripping away all interesting features, breaking air combat & adding shiny graphics get you? Best Game of E3 Award from IGN.
Bad enough comparing it to Battlefront 2 but people forget Battlefront: Elite Squadron which had functional ground to space battles on the original Playstation Portable.

Battlefield has accurate weapons and iron-sights. I think they wanted Battlefield: Star Wars to pander to the lowest common denomenator: children.
I hear that just spamming the fire button in the general direction of enemies will score you kills. Bring your nostalgia but leave your skill at the door, I guess.

Oh come oooon alreadyyyyy. I didn’t know Battlefield has TPP, jetpacks, force shields, Hero units with lightsabers AND you can just shoot without ADS.

actually they are huge differences, for example: there is no campaign in Battlefront, maps are tiny for an online only shooter, and flying vehicles are just garbage

Yeah but it was so bad quality you could even tell it was PC in any way. This isn’t that good either.
Looks so casual… the reason why counter strike is still the most played fps after over a decade is because it’s hard to master and everyone has something to improve. And it works. I got bored of BF4 after 250h even with more content but now I got 450h in CS GO in a couple of maps and I’m still hooked even without any unlock etc systems.
While I agree with what you said, 250 hours is a lot of time.
Yeah it is but that’s because I really like the series. The point was that it doesn’t have the same skill and addiction to learning as cs has.
Yeah, but it’s also completely different from cs too. Can you really have competitive battles with such large numbers? Compared to smaller fights you have in cs.
Not competitive battles but that’s not what I meant. The gunplay and combat in BF4 has become just really casual. No need for recoil control, people are bullet sponges and the random spread and bad netcode will keep skilled accurate people from doing as well as they should. And battlefront is supposed to be much more casual.
Okay, never was a huge fan of battlefield personally. Always preferred a good arena shooter instead. Though to be honest I’m really tired of shooters…. Pretty random sorry about that. But yeah sure!

Not the old ones. What do you mean? If you thought I meant cs is super hc etc it isn’t. But there are reasons why people still play dust 2 after 1000h in it.
Strip the SW license from this and what have you got? A flat subpar shooter that F2P games in that space all ready do better.

why are they so afraid to show real gameplay ? take a look at mkx and mgsv, hours of gameplay that would make you decided to whether or not buy it
