GSC GameWorld has released a new cinematic in-engine trailer for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. This trailer showcases the game’s graphics and some of the in-engine 3D models. And while it’s a cinematic trailer, it can give you an idea of how the game may look like.
STALKER 2 will be using Unreal Engine 5 and promises to feature incredible graphics. Although there isn’t an exact release date, the team aims to release this new FPS in 2024. You can also find here its preliminary PC requirements.
Contrary to other Unreal Engine 5 games, STALKER 2 will be also available on Steam. According to its Steam store page, the game won’t have Denuvo. So, that’s good for those who boycott the games using it.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl promises to have a huge, realistic world to explore. You’ll get to wander around a massive 64-square-kilometer radioactive zone. This zone will be filled with all kinds of post-apocalyptic environments. Not only that but players will get to decide how their story unfolds. Additionally, the devs claim that the game will have a highly branching epic story.
STALKER 2 will have a dynamic day-night cycle and weather system. The game also promises to have an advanced AI, and a life-simulating system “A-life 2.0”. Furthermore, there will be modding support, as well as a multiplayer mode (which will be added soon after release as a free update).
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

If that isn’t prerendered the visuals look excellent. Very similar to Metro Exodus
this in-engine cutscenes
Please let it be optimized, please let it be optimized, please let it be optimized ….
Ue5, so very high chance of traversal stutters, and 3080 for 30-60fps with all UE5 features enabled.
So I just started playing Robocop: Rogue City. And I have almost no stutter at all, and I’m maxed out + INI tweaks to push visuals further! The only stutter/freeze I get is first time I launch the game, it freeezes for like ~15 secs in main menu.
Robocop has hub level system, all level loading at a time, even indoors are different level. S2 is openworld with world partition system.
please don’t be political, please don’t be hohol-supremacist
Made in Ukraine with a ukrainian setting, but everyone speaks english. Zero respect/care for their culture. Noice.
Who said that? The game will be voiced in Ukrainian instead Russian like it was in old games, people outside Ukraine will use English for sure
Look what language is synching with the lips.
its obvious that English is #1 priority due to market share.
The final game will get Ukrainian Dub, English will be default and most polished.
So maybe now you understand what I’ve posted? Cool, then.
So…just like Western Yakuza trailers.
Lips are still synching with japanese. Not in this case, that used english as main language.
Maybe UA gets lip sync too. Need to ask devs about this.
You can’t respect something that doesn’t exist.
Woah there, edgelord! It’s friday, be cool.
yikes
this game will never be a successor for the previous games nor be close to metro.
I’m disappointed. boring trailer. too emotional for its own sake. did a women write this?
