New Kingdom Come: Deliverance trailer details combat mechanics

Warhorse Studios has released a new Kingdom Come: Deliverance trailer. In this trailer, Creative Director Daniel Vavra and Lead Designer Viktor Bocan delve into its combat system.

The system will offer a variety of weapons, attacks, counters and moves during the intense fights within the game. Kingdom Come: Deliverance promises to feature an immersive, sophisticated melee system that is intuitive and accessible at the same time.

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance, players will follow the events after the death of Henry’s parents as he joins ranks with Sir Radzig to get the training he needs. The game uses Crytek’s CRYENGINE, and will feature a huge and realistic open world. Moreover, its story will be non-linear, and will sport challenging battles and a dynamic world.

  1. no lootboxes or SJW’s in sight
now this is truely the game of kings

this is definitely on the to buy list!

  2. Hype is high… Mafia 3 wasn’t the same without Daniel Vávra ( let’s be honest it was crap ) but I’m silently waiting for this game to see if it delivers a real medieval experience…

    1. i actually asked about this on the forum
“Dan Vávra left 2K Czech before Mafia 2 came out since he saw no possibility to actually make games he wanted to make while there.”

a true man of integrity, i see a bright future for this game

      1. Indeed. I liked Mafia 2 in spite of all its flaws though. SJW really are a cancer to this medium/industry. They manage to kill license after license. The bubble will burst soon…

        1. indeed it will, when AAA publishers see the damage report (esp bethesda with dindu of the outsider selling less than 100K)
they’ll just pull a 180 and kick off all those tard SJW managers and replace them with actual professionals who know how to make games and market them

well it’s either that, or a continuation of stagnation until VG becomes like movies
which i doubt it will happen because we have kingdom come
we have metro exodus, we might have bannerlord (very skeptical)
we currently have a Hat in time (fun fact, Yooka-Laylee removed their JonTron cameo = 5-6/10

A Hat In Time kept their JonTron cameo = 10/10
lesson is: if they pander, they are tards and their game is $hit)

in all honesty the future didn’t change much, Ubisoft is still $hit
so is EA, so is activision, the only difference is the method
they used to be ruthless corperate greed, now there is mindless pandering
both of em reduce game quality, but the latter assures their abominations get high scores from Kucktaku and Polycuck and other sites…

  3. wars weren’t fought like this, i don’t think 1v1 fights ever happened in wars, this game is going to be very boring.

      1. yeah yeah, they have large scale battles that they never showed but i’m sure it’s in the game, are you the one who used to tell me assassin’s creed origin’s combat is same as for honor?

        1. They’ve shown the large scale battles already. If you’ve seen their older videos you’d know.

And no, I’m not the guy who talked about AC:Origins and For Honor. I have been clue who that is.

          1. the one where you walk in line with like 15 other people?yeah that was a pretty large battle just like real wars.

  4. I don’t know why, but i feel that this game will not sell very well.
I hope crytek to be a success again with great show cases, because i just can’t stand UE4 all the fcking time, but this game feels that it should have been launched month ago.

    1. Last time i heard, medieval games sell quite well
the difference is this game is about realism and gritty atmosphere of middle ages Bohemia
the only reason if does not sell well is about they have little to no money to spend on advertisers
that, and it has no fantasy elements (no magic, dragons etc…)
