New Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition Cinematics Comparison Video

Nightdive Studios has released a new video for Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition. This video compares some of the original cinematic sequences with the new enhanced ones, giving players an idea of some of their improvements.

Nightdive Studios has used AI techniques in order to improve the quality of the cinematics. Furthermore, the team used interpolation effects in order to improve their framerates. However, some cinematics appear to be running with 30fps, whereas others are running with 60fps. This inconsistent framerate is awful, and we believe that the team should either lock the framerate to 30fps or 60fps.

Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition promises to be a polished and premium restoration. The game will feature updated character models, animations and cutscenes. It will also support widescreen resolutions, keyboard and controller customization and more.

The game targets a 2020 release on the PC.

Enjoy!
