Inner Chains gets new video, showcasing 8 minutes of gameplay footage

Telepaths’s Tree studio released today a new, unpublished material from Inner Chains – an upcoming FPS game with horror elements, placed in a dark, bio-mechanical world. This latest video shows the 8 first minutes of the game, focusing on the introduction of its horrifying world that was created by Tomasz Strzalkowski.

In Inner Chains, players will have an opportunity to feel the mystical atmosphere of this place, meet its inhabitants, deadly flora and attempt to comprehend its rules.

In the video, the hero wakes up in a grave as one of the pilgrims, who are trying to reach their common goal.

As the developers noted:

“He (the hero) is weak, slow and doesn’t wield any weapons. In this stage, he is not fully aware of the real dangers, rules and harsh reality of this world. On his journey, he meets many different superficial hazards which, after the discovery of their secrets and workings of the mysterious Caste, will prove necessary in order to fight the real enemy.”

Enjoy!

    1. I assume you meant: Gameplay looks good and the locations are stunning!

It’s like, My birthday was awesome but the cake was great.

  1. The artwork and level design are fantastic but this gameplay segment looked a little amateur and doesnt do much to sell the game IMO.

    1. Repeated for relevance:

YES, IT IS A WALKING SIMULATOR.

If I can spend 9 minutes in your game not shooting anything, not even jumping or in any other way completing tasks I could fail at then it’s a F*CKlNG walking simulator. The devs can suck it. Another “””game””” to write off before it even hits alpha state.
