Gamespot has shared a new video, showing 28 minutes of gameplay footage from the PC version of Days Gone. In order to capture this video, Gamespot used an NVIDIA GeForce 2080Ti with an Intel I9-9900K CPU and 32GB of RAM.
Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game set two years after a devastating global pandemic. In this game, players assume the role of Deacon St. John; a bounty hunter facing a brutal struggle for survival while searching for a reason to live.
The PC version of Days Gone will feature ultra-wide monitor support, unlocked framerates and improved graphics. PC gamers can expect increased level of details, field of view, and foliage draw distances.

Nah games don’t need any politics in them at all. Personally, I play mostly just MP FPS games so story and politics are completely irrelevant and easily ignored. Do I care that women are in WW2 shooters, nope. I’m smart and well adjusted enough to ignore that and prioritize gameplay, mechanics, skill ceiling, etc over something so trivial as if women or soyboys are in the game pink hair or not, I really couldn’t care less, it’s easily ignored.
For the odd SP game I play does it bother me that a black woman is a protagonist? nope, again it’s simply overlooked or I can enjoy the character for their qualities or the writing, I’m looking directly at Dishonored 2: Death of the Outsider. I could appreciate the story and the characters without getting all bothered about the idpol. It’s a game, who cares if I’m playing a black lesbian or not, if the character is good and the game immersive, then fantastic.

Wow, the cutscenes and dialog really have a lot of soul! Like natural and organic, like you were in those situations, instead a cheese fest like most games!
Gameplay on the other hand doesn’t stand out, but as a cinematic experience it felt very compelling!
Gamespot may have captured this from a PC with those specs but the game is clearly being played on a Playstation as all of the on-screen button prompts are Playstation oriented.
