A team of modders is currently working on a fan sequel to the first Dark Souls game, Dark Souls: Nightfall. Dark Souls: Nightfall will feature a new story, new combat system, new world map, and more, and you can find below 18 minutes of gameplay footage from it.
Now in case you’re wondering, this is a mod for the first Dark Souls game. As such, you’ll need Dark Souls in order to play. These opening events from the game’s prologue will show you some of what the mod has in store for you.
In order to create a full-fledged mod/game, the team is reusing and repurposing existing Dark Souls assets. According to them, this will save a considerable amount of time and effort.
There is currently no ETA on when this mod will come out. Naturally, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
