Kombatants, get ready for a treat. The first screenshots from the PC version of Mortal Kombat have been revealed and our reader ‘TensiKashi’ has just sent them to us. Mortal Kombat is currently planned for a July 3rd release and will feature dynamic gameplay including Tag Team, Challenge Tower and a full feature length story mode. Players choose from an extensive lineup of the game’s iconic warriors and challenge their friends in traditional 1 vs. 1 matches, or gamers can spectate battles and interact directly with Kombatants online during the King of the Hill mode. Developed by WB Games Montreal, Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous criminals, the game showcases a young and unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. Warner Bros has released the full length CG trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins; a trailer that looks spectacular in every way. Quite honesty, this CG trailer proves the gap between in-game and pre-rendered visuals, a gap so big that even next-gen platforms (and most likely next-next-gen platforms) won’t be able to abridge. Warner Bros has announced Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure, a Scribblenauts game for Wii U, 3DS and PC. The game is developed by 5th Cell, features, 33 different Batmans and 130 Green Lanterns from the various iterations of the DC universe, and focuses on the story of Maxwell and his sister Lily, who travel into the DC universe with Maxwell’s magic notebook and summon DC-specific characters and objects to solve puzzles. Warner Bros has also released a trailer for it that can be viewed below. Last but not least, the game will feature 2000 characters (thanks Polygon).
