Valve has just announced a new operating system based on Steam called SteamOS. As the team suggested, SteamOS combines the rock-solid architecture of Linux with a gaming experience built for the big screen. Now this really interesting. Steam has announced an early access program for a number of upcoming games, with which players can interact with the developers and influence the development of a game. Contrary to pre-order, early access is an immediate purchase of a game and gives the ability to the player to immediately download its latest build and experiment with it.
