NVIDIA DLSS 3 is completely broken on AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs in The Witcher 3 Next-Gen & Cyberpunk 2077

NVIDIA and CD Projekt RED recently released the Ray Tracing Overdrive Patch for Cyberpunk 2077. This RT Mode is so heavy that even the RTX 4090 needs DLSS 3 in order to achieve playable framerates at 4K. And while at first glance everything appeared to be working fine, upon further testing we’ve discovered that DLSS 3 is completely broken on the AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPUs. NVIDIA DLSS 2 tested in 24 games with shocking results

DLSS, or Deep Learning Super Resolution, renders a game at a lower resolution, and then uses AI techniques in order to reconstruct it at a higher resolution (while also offering better performance). However, everyone was kind of disappointed when NVIDIA first launched it. You see, DLSS 1 was blurry as hell and looked way worse than native resolutions. NVIDIA GeForce 531.61 WHQL Driver released, fixes issues with The Last of Us Part I, Assassin’s Creed Origins & Hogwarts Legacy

A couple of days ago, NVIDIA released a new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the NVIDIA GeForce 531.61 WHQL driver adds support for the RTX 4070, and fixes some game issues.
