It appears that Air Superiority will return in the final DLC of Battlefield 3, as the official Battlelog page suggests that this upcoming DLC will feature both the classic Capture the Flag and the Air Superiority game modes. What’s also interesting is that various rumors suggested that Air Superiority would be coming back in Battlefield 4. With the End Game DLC supporting this mode, we can safely say that those rumors are true and BF4 will support this mode from the get-go. It appears that someone managed to hack Battlelog last night. At around 3:30 PM EST games were unable to be joined and the poll at the bottom of Battlelog was for BF4 beta. The interesting thing here is that the poll featured an option with which the hacker could still someone’s password, meaning that you should change your password if you were among those who were fooled. DICE and Electronic Arts have released a teaser trailer for the last DLC of Battlefield 3, End Game. This teaser gives us a first look at the expansion pack that is planned for a March 2013 release and features footage of the new dirt bike. Electronic Arts has released its post earthquake expansion pack for Battlefield 3, Aftermath, on PC and X360. Battlefield 3: Aftermath features all multiplayer game modes from the base game, plus the all-new Scavenger mode. In Scavenger mode, lost soldiers start equipped with only a knife, one grenade, and sidearm and must search the environment for more powerful weapons to increase their chance at surviving and eventually winning. Okay, after watching this PC montage of Battlefield 3 I can only say this; I wouldn’t want to play against such players. Truth be told, I’ve seen better frag videos from other games (such as for Quake 3, Unreal Tournament or Counter-Strike) but still, the skills showcased below are simply amazing. Back in November, the guys over 1080PixelGaming have released a mind-blowing Battlefield 3 video where they flipped a tank onto the roof of a building. It looked great, and the team is back with a punch, with a new video that puts that previous tank flipping clip to shame. DICE has released a new server and a new client update for the PC version of Battlefield 3. The client patch is similar to the one that was released for consoles, last week. DICE and Electronic Arts have released the launch trailer of Aftermath. In Battlefield 3: Aftermath, players fight for supremacy amongst shattered streets and buildings across four earthquake ravaged maps. This launch trailer features footage from all four maps and features the new crossbow, vehicles, and the new Scavenger game mode where players armed only with a pistol must search the environment for more powerful weapons. DICE and Electronic Arts have revealed the changelog for the latest update of Battlefield 3 that will go live today on consoles, and in the next few days on the PC. According to the release notes, DICE has addressed the audio stability and input lag issues of the PS3 version, re-balanced a number of weapons, fixed various bugs and some collision issues.
