Bohemia Developers Haven Been Released On Bail, Can Return To Czech Republic

Great news for ArmA III and Bohemia fans, as the two developers who were arrested and accused of espionage, Ivan Buchta and Martin Pezlar, have been released on bail and can go back to the Czech Republic. According to the official Bohemia website – dedicated to this incident – the bail-sum was set to 5,000 Euros each. ArmA 3 Delayed To 2013, No Exact Release Date Given

Even though ArmA 3 was officially scheduled for release at the end of 2012 / start of 2013, we already knew that the game was not coming out anytime soon. And Bohemia has just informed us about the delay of its upcoming military sim title. According to the team, the additional development time will enable the project to reach its full potential, with the studio expecting to finalize their release plans in the new year. Bohemia provides further details about the Lemnos incident, launches community support website

Bohemia Interactive has provided us with some additional information about the arrest of its two employees. According to the company, Ivan Buchta and Martin Pezlar visited the island as tourists and took photographs and videos in public areas, like most tourists do. These included a short video as they drove through the main road passing around the international airport, where in one short part of the video off in the distance some hangars and other buildings of the complex can be seen. Bohemia Interactive issues an official statement about the Lemnos incident – “we always respect the law”

Bohemia Interactive has issued an official statement about the arrest of its two employees from the Greek authorities on Lemnos. According to the company’s CEO, Marek Spanel, two of Bohemia Interactive’s employees were arrested during their holiday trip to Lemnos. Contrary to previous reports, Bohemia states that they visited the island with the sole purpose of experiencing the island’s beautiful surroundings and not for capturing new footage for ArmA 3. Two Czech men arrested at Limnos island by the Greek police; claim to be members of Bohemia Interactive

Now this is a really weird story. Earlier yesterday, two Czech men were arrested at Limnos island by the Greek police. According to the police reports, it seems that these Czech guys were taking photographs of Limnos’ military bases, something that is prohibited in Greek islands. However, these Czech guys claimed to be members of Bohemia Interactive and stated that they were taking photos for their upcoming military FPS title, ArmA III. ArmA 3 – Gamescom 2012 Screenshots

Bohemia Interactive has released some new Gamescom 2012 screenshots for its upcoming military sim first person shooter title, ArmA 3. As always, ArmA 3 looks great, though we are kind of spoiled by Crytek’s work with Crysis 3 textures. On the other hand, ArmA 3 has bigger environments that are based on a real-life locations, with more advanced balistics and the ability to fly jets and helicopters in them. ArmA 3 will be playable at this year’s GamesCom

Great news for PC gamers attending this year’s GamesCom, as Bohemia’s military sim FPS will be playable. According to the company, the latest build of their game will be available, alongside the PC and X360 versions of Carrier Command: Gaea Mission. Arma 3, the latest installment of the tactical military simulation game from independent developers Bohemia Interactive, creators of the award-winning mil-sim series Arma. New ArmA 3 Vehicle Footage Showcases Amazing Weather/Sky Effects

Bohemia Interactive has released a new video that showcases some of the game’s features, such as the Strider, and outlining some of Bohemia’s plans for vehicles, including the PhysX-supported driving model, new sound effects, Forward Looking Infra Red, and more. The best thing about the footage though is the how natural the game’s weather looks, thanks to the volumentric clouds. ArmA 3 features the best sky we’ve ever seen in recent games.
