Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege – 4K Resolution Screenshots From The Closed Beta Build

The closed beta phase of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege is a go and below you can find a set of 4K resolution screenshots from it. Do note that this is a closed beta, something that may explain the somehow underwhelming visuals. For what is worth, the beta ran with constant 60fps on a single GTX680 at 1080p with max settings. Enjoy!

  1. A lot of game developers do that. They increase the level of detail to make it look better. Just because it’s “in-engine” doesn’t mean it’ll look like that in-game. Do you want it to run at 30 FPS with a GTX 980?

Also, keep in mind that the beta build might not have the best quality textures or shaders. Developers sometimes omit those in order to keep the file size down.

    1. So you telling me that lying to customer is ok?
Cuz, you know, its bad to show something that you know you cant deliver.

      1. No, I’m not. I don’t like it when developers release bullshots because it’s misleading. It’s the same as console developers using PC screenshots on the backs of game boxes when there’s no way a console can deliver that level of quality. I merely brought up the fact that it’s something developers do.

        1. And the mother of all bullshoots was dark souls 2. I have a friend that is a sony fanboy, he asked me to go with him to buy the retail game. He wanted the cd case.
You cant imagine my face when i saw the old build pictures printed on the back of the case. Hilarious.
That tell you right there the game was downgraded at last min

    2. You disgust and annoy me with your stupid over-exaggerations. The Beta runs at 100 in 2560×1440 fps with one 980 at highest settings. While I’m sure it’s missing some of the visuals, am I really to trust and believe this is what it’ll look like on release? With Ubi’s track record, no f’ing way.

  2. The game looks much in than these screenshots suggest. Then again I was also using SweetFX to enhance the visuals as well.
