Electronic Arts and Ghost Games have revealed some new screenshots for Need For Speed. Powered by Frostbite 3, Need For Speed looks incredible. The attention to detail is extraordinary, especially when we take account the game’s open-world nature. Need For Speed will be coming in 2016 on the PC. Enjoy!

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa) I wonna try this game just because of graphics)
0 FPS Photo-Mode screenshots, obviously they will look this amazing. Forza Motorsport 4 and Gran Turismo 5 already had these visuals 4-5 years ago in their Photo-Modes and they were achieved on last gen consoles. But during gameplay they looked much less detailed. This is a common technique is driving games to give the illusion that the graphics are much much better than what they actually are.
Yeah, the same they did with The Witcher 2 and 3 during cut scenes. Very detailed assets while in game they were meh in comparison.
It was the same with little different lighting, faces ofc are more detailed because you really couldnt see them properly normally in game.
even during the gameplay need for speed still look stunning
even during the gameplay need for speed still look stunning !
Haha and you didn’t mention Driveclub photomode because it would destroy your theory 🙂

They looked that good because it was a photo mode in a small plot of land with photos in the background. And nothing else, especially dynamic. Look at the screenshots below and say that they are same in any way…
who cares
Me
A lot of gamers. The game does indeed look stunning and the only 2 issues I have with it so far are:
1. Its Online only
2. It got delayed on PC
That only guarantees a better PC version. Also expect better graphics.
Online only is such a shame though.
There’s nothing wrong with it being delayed. You would be b*tching if it got released and was capped at 30 fps and didn’t look better than consoles
That chromatic aberration in the third screenshot is dreadful.
I can’t wait until devs move on from using chromatic aberration and finally see it’s a terrible effect.
Right? Who the F thought we should make video games look like 1970’s/80’s era TV/Photo?
wow Frostbite made this game Incredible

If only this incredible attention to detail applied to cockpits…
You would think auto makers demand they include that for advertising to potential car buyers
Good point there. I second that.
Yeah, but since there’s no cockpit cam, they won’t make them detailed most likely.
We accept this delay if they will come with NFS DX12.
If not bye & never come back.
DX12 + AMD Games Evolved = Great Optimalisation on every platform 😉
Looks bloody fantastic, Looking forward to play it.
Almost shed a tear when I saw the BMW from Need for Speed Most Wanted 2005.
2005 mw 😉
not really.
Photomode = bullshot mode.
delay is ok but always online = no buy, so make it offline or gtfo
The power of Frostbite.
looks like s**t, just like your mom
