Modder ‘Halk Hogan PL’ has just released the first version of the HD Reworked Project for Bethesda’s RPG, Starfield. This is a must-have Texture Pack for Starfield and we highly recommend downloading it. After all, it will significantly improve the quality of numerous low-res textures.
Going into more details, Starfield HD Reworked Project 1.0 reworks various environment textures in cities and beyond (some rocks, walls, floors, terrain and more). Moreover, it reworks the entire crowd, meaning that the faces of all NPCs can now look much more detailed and realistic. Additionally, it reworks some fire effects so you can have realistic flames instead of blurry pixels.
You can download Starfield HD Reworked Project 1.0 from here. At the end of the article, you can also find a video that showcases some of the improved textures. This video can give you an idea of what you can expect from this amazing HD Texture Pack.
Speaking of Starfield, we also suggest taking a look at these other mods for it. This mod solves the game’s elevated black levels/washed-out graphics, and we highly recommend using it. You can also use this guide in order to increase your FOV. And let’s not forget the DLSS 2/XeSS and DLSS 3 Frame Generation mods. Sprinting Stuttering Fix is another interesting mod that addresses some stuttering issues that could occur in Starfield while running. And then we have these two must-have mods that overhaul the game’s User Interface and Particle Effects. Lastly, earlier this month, we also shared an incredible Star Wars Mandalorian Mod that you must download, especially if you are a fan of George Lucas’ space opera.
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. Someone must mod subsurface scattering in this game.
I dont think you will notice the difference when playing.
Just need some blurring out of those sicko animal-hybrid froggy npc faces really, grey paper bag heads lol
Dude, you just gave one awesome idea for a Starfail MOD.
Every NPC with paper bags for heads!
This would be beautiful!
nice job dude!!!
Modders have put much more passion and time in starfield than the the game’s lazy developers.
I’m afraid in Bethesda’s case it’s far worse than just laziness. Incompetence runs rampant and there’s no incentive by upper management to correct this because they’ve had a huge talented modding community cleaning up their messes and adding content for free since Oblivion around 17 years ago.
The fact this exists before any kind of official texture fix was released is deplorable. The “updates” they’ve provided so far are piece meal at best and do little to improve the experience.
Lest we forget that Digital Foundry publicly mocked those who dared ask the question if Starfield had been optimised for PC.
Faced with irrefutable evidence to the contrary DF has since questioned the game’s p1ss poor optimisation themselves on at least two separate occasions presumably in an urgent attempt to save face and retain some form of credibility.
To the best of my knowledge they’ve not yet had the class or humility to admit to their initial foolishness. I’m sure it was in no way linked to their recent special treatment from Microsoft and the Microsoft-owned Bethesda or the fact that Microsoft has previously sponsored DF videos.
DF is a branch of Eurogamer, do you honestly expect them to be unbiased?
They’re there to market, which is why they started off and got popular by giving out console performance reviews in the first place only hiring a PC focused coworker later on.
Indeed. DF have done videos officially sponsored by the likes of Microsoft and Nvidia so by their own actions they’ve brought their integrity into question.
They have no integrity, they’re in the advertisement business.
It’s certainly hard to argue to the contrary on that point in recent years. The number of sponsored videos and special treatment they’ve been afforded by industry figures has been impossible to ignore.
Must be new to how modders work and how devs work.
You clearly don’t know the work it takes to make a game lol. If you think the devs are lazy that’s fine that’s a opinion and a wrong one at that
You clearly have reading comprehension problem and that’s not fine.
Those original textures look like that from a decade old game! Lazy a$$ devs put no effort into design anymore!
Modders on the other hand doi an excellent job!
This lazy a*s dev puts no effort in. Plenty of studios out there trying to do it right.
They should make a mod that removes the game from the store.
Based on your profile pic, one can only assume why you think that.
Install it, and then be shocked that you can’t actually tell what changed. The only way you would know is if you planted your face into a wall, took a screenshot, left the game, installed the mod, back into the game , screenshot the same wall, leave the game, and compare the 2 screenshots side by side, outside of the game.

I believe modding can make a mediocre game into a masterpiece given enough time, but at the same time it is also a waste when you could be modding better games, and a game like Starfield the best mods would be banned, such is the age we live in.
Hocam detaylı bir anlatım olmuş eline sağlık
Bethesda had six years and the deepest pockets in the industry. W*nk, little support. Meanwhile, Larian expanded from an indie to essentially a AAA to get the job done and releases patches and hot fixes weekly. This isn’t hard guys, finish the f*king game. Gods let’s hope ES6 isn’t also a procedurally generated hot mess.
People complaining that the mod makes the new textures load slow, pop-in.
Not good…
That’s only because Halk hasn’t had the time to compress them to .ba2 format
Although it doesn’t help that the game seems to have some sort of memory bottleneck that’s killing performance which is the likely reason why there are so many low resolution textures in the game in the first place, they couldn’t get the engine to stream higher resolution textures fast enough to prevent pop-in
Why bother with this game, it’s complete trash. It’s not like hd textures will fix this game.
Both Starfield and Star Citizen belong in the trash.
Anyway, I don’t know why nobody can make an interesting game in space.
It’s always bland and boring, with the same stupid aesthetics.
Surprised people are still working on mods for this game, feels like it has fizzled out fast and everyone moved on
Modders have only just begun on this game. There will be many, many more mods to come in the future. Bethesda hasn’t even released the mod tool kit for the game yet. They say that will be released next year.
Hell, there are still mods being made for Skyrim and Fallout 4.
Sometimes a modder is so dedicated to a game that they continue to work on a game for a long time. Wesp5 comes to mind. He has been modding VTMB for 19 years now.
That makes little sense. Nexus top 5 games are bethesda games, billions of downloads and not every mod is even on nexus. Nah just those who aren’t into bethesda games moved on everyone else is still playing and modding. The official creation kit doesn’t even come out til next year and the first confirmed dlc too. Geniuses need to look up free playthroughs before buying or crying, sheesh smh
In 6 months this pile of black junk will be at least acceptable thanks to modders.
