STALKER 2 Build 2011 has been leaked online

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is one of the most anticipated games. And, from the looks of it, its 2011 build has been leaked online. As such, players can use some patches in order to run this build and see for themselves this very early version of STALKER 2.

From what I can see, the materials, assets and scripts from STALKER 2 are what has been leaked (and not the UE4 executable file). In order to load those assets, users have used the X-Ray Editor.

You can download the STALKER 2 2011 SDK from here. In order to run it, you may need some patches that you can find here.

Below you can find some screenshots from this older build of STALKER 2. Again, the game was – back then – in a really early stage. As such, don’t expect much from it. Still, I believe that some STALKER fans will find this interesting.

Kudos to our reader Pimpek for bringing this to our attention!

    1. Or click with the mouse wheel on all the images you want to view. It’ll open them in separate tabs and allow you to zoom in/out with Ctrl+mouse wheel. It’s the best method anyway, in my opinion (which is superior to pop-up galleries), because you can browse the article independently and switch between it and images at will, without having to go back to the thumbnails in order to view the pictures.

      1. Actually, WordPress broke compatibility with our two gallery plugins. The latest version apparently fixed it, so the gallery should be working once again.

        1. If a gallery enhances the user experience with some useful features like a slider for comparison, that’s fair enough.
It’s bad when it doesn’t add anything but only takes away some screen real estate.
By the way, I’ve seen some galleries where not only aren’t you allowed to zoom in, but also you can’t open any of the images in a new tab. Those are the worst.

        2. Personally, I’m totally satisfied with this website’s gallery.
Simple and efficient. I hate heavy and slow galleries with lots of useless bells and whistles.
I guess I understand the concerns about phone users, but on desktop, it’s perfect for me.

Most gaming websites(even the most popular ones) are in fact much worse, they post very low-quality pics, they forbid right-click or opening in a new tab, etc.
DsO allows me to open pics in a new tab(I don’t see how it annoys some users, it’s in fact much better than many websites which open pictures on the same page and even force you to go back and load the page again, ugh!) and/or save them, and they’re also usually high-quality and not compressed, and that’s all I need.

I’m more annoyed at the fact that the video player is too little by default, but then again, there’s a button to expand it and we can even keep it windowed and position it freely, so everything’s fine.

I couldn’t care less about zooming and comparison sliders.

      2. Yeah, pouring their hearts out for 30 mins is easier than clicking on another button for some gen z’s… Its amusing really 🙂

        1. It’s also probably the reason why John doesn’t do anything about it. Pop-up galleries are clunky anyway. Sometimes the simplest methods without any bells and whistles are the best. You want to see an image, not some UI clutter.

  1. And here we have already the mod support needed for years to come. Having a deja vu from the first title hahaha

    1. It wasn’t, they were working on the sequel for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 back then, before cancelling it and going dormant.
Not only that but it was being worked on the Xray Engine, their own inhouse game engine.

The STALKER 2 we know now is a completely new project being developed with Unreal Engine 4.

        1. It won’t, the game being confirmed for consoles pretty much confirms it unfortunately, even with the mod support they promised.

The gameplay, the physics, the AI and the inventory system will all have to fit into a locked down Xbox and be played with a gamepad.

  2. I think I’m dreaming, have you guys finally added a slideshow script to the gallery? DSOG best site confirmed

  3. by the way cop is missing tones of stuff and clear sky was striped to redefined sos

clear sky added gg mousse look ,if engine is re mastered it will not be allowed to be used by as they a*s holes
