FromSoftware has released Title Update 1.01.2 for Elden Ring Nightreign and shared its full patch notes. So, let’s see what this new update brings to the table.
Patch 1.01.2 can be considered a hotfix. From what I can see, it does not bring any major balance tweaks or changes. Moreover, it does not pack any performance optimizations. Instead, it fixes some issues that plagued the game.
Update 1.01.2 fixes several problems in the game. One fix helps players who were almost dead after getting grabbed by Wormface—now they can be rescued. Another fix corrects a problem where certain weapon skills were adding extra effects when they shouldn’t. The update also fixes an issue that made the game crash during the fight with Adel, Baron of Night.
And that’s not all. Update 1.01.2 also fixes a bug where the Demon Merchant wouldn’t show up during the mission “Find the Demon Merchant in Limveld” in Guardian’s Remembrance. It fixes a problem where some weapons with the “Projectile Damage Drop-Off Reduced” ability didn’t appear in treasure chests or from defeated enemies. Finally, it fixes a bug where Libra, Creature of Night, would keep doing the same actions over and over.
Right now, there is no word on whether we’ll get the next major update. We also don’t know when – and if – FromSoftware will add support for any PC-only features. So, there is no word yet on whether we’ll get support for NVIDIA DLSS or AMD FSR. This is kind of a bummer.
In theory, this latest version of Nightreign should be compatible with the mods I shared a while ago. So, you should be able to use it with this mod that unlocks the game’s framerate. It should also be compatible with the Seamless Co-Op Mod.

- Fixed a bug where the Passive Effect “Add (Magic/Lightning/Holy) to Weapon”, when applied to a Bow, made the Physical attack power higher than expected.
- Fixed a bug where some non-direct attacks of specific weapons’ skills would inflict the attribute attack power and status ailment of the weapon.
- Fixed a bug where weapons with the “Projectile Damage Drop-Off Reduced” Passive Effect were not included in the loot pool of chests and felled enemies.
- Fixed a bug where the Demon Merchant would not appear when some conditions were met during the Personal Objective “Find the Demon Merchant in Limveld” of Guardian’s Remembrance.
- Fixed a bug where Libra, Creature of Night would repeatedly perform some actions.
- Fixed a bug that caused the game to become unstable under some circumstances during the battle against Adel, Baron of Night.
- Fixed a bug where it was not possible to rescue a player who was near death after being grabbed by Wormface’s grab attack.
