I have to give my thanks to Sid Spyker for bringing this to my attention. In Gamespy’s latest coverage of Assassin’s Creed 3, Creative Director Alex Hutchinson said that he doesn’t see Ubisoft investing hugely in a mouse and keyboard setup. Hutchinson thinks that if you want to play on PC and you want to play Assassin’s Creed, you’ ll definitely need a controller. My guess is that this recommendation is mainly to the complaints of a lot PC gamers for both Assassin’s Creed 1&2 (as well as Revelations). The main problem with them was a mouse acceleration isse that was quite noticeable. Continue reading Ubisoft recommends a gamepad for AC3 PC, gamers request proper keyboard and mouse control scheme→

“it is still in QA, but it is definitely going to be released.”
In other news, iD Software revealed a while ago that they have not forgotten about all those promises for a PC Level Editor and Mod Tools. As the company tweeted a couple of weeks ago, they’ll be sharing new information soon. Well, it’s been two weeks since then and we haven’t heard anything from them.
Here is hoping that iD Software won’t use Valve’s ‘time schedule’ for their announcements.
