Great news for all zombie fans as Telltale’s The Walking Dead is now available on Steam. The Walking Dead is a five-part game series set in the same universe as Robert Kirkman’s award-winning comic book series. Players will take the role of Lee Everett, a convicted criminal, who has been given a second chance at life in a world devastated by the undead. With corpses returning to life and survivors stopping at nothing to maintain their own safety, protecting an orphaned girl named Clementine may offer him redemption in a world gone to hell. Dicework Games have released a demo for their upcoming PC indie game, Rimelands: Hammer of Thor. Rimelands is a roleplaying game, a lot like many dungeon-crawling board and pen and paper games. It’s a polished product in a genre that is often ignored by larger studios. The setting is a unique blend of steampunk and fantasy elements. It combines old school mechanics with streamlined modern gameplay, offers an intriguing story with an abundance of real-world mythology and great visuals. The original iPhone game received a lot of praise, and the new PC version will not only take it up a notch, but to a whole different level. It seems that Milestone has been hard at work lately. The Italian studio is currently developing MUD – FIM Motocross World Championship, SBK Generations and the highly anticipated WRC 3. And today, publisher Black Bean released a new gameplay trailer for SBK Generations. Which – ironically – looks quite good. Don’t expect a sim motorcycle game though. SBK Generations promises to deliver the usual official package of the next Championship Season made up of classes, riders, and tracks from the 2012 roster and is currently slated for a May release on current generation consoles and PC. As promised, Electronic Arts and Crytek have revealed the first gameplay trailer of Crysis 3. This trailer is influenced by Inception, meaning that you’ll get lots of different scenes with extreme montage (and the usual ‘booooom’ ‘boooooom’ bassline in the background) and you won’t be able to fully enjoy the scenery or the art design. From the looks of it, Crysis 3 looks similar to Crysis 2, although the environments have been reworked and look better than before. Konami has officially revealed today PES 2013. This 2013 version sees the series returning to its roots, with the emphasis on the individual skills of the world’s best players, and giving the player the total freedom to play any style of ball, which includes for the first time full control over shots. This follows further consultation with both football and PES fans alike, and the result is the most faithful recreation of modern day football to date, with players modeled to match the running motions, abilities and playing styles, and the flicks and turns of their real-life counterparts. Hi-Rez Studios have released a new trailer for their free-to-play Tribes game. This new trailer showcases the changes that have been made to Tribes: Ascend via its latest update. The game now features new content for the Raider Class that includes a Griever skin, a Mercenary skin, a Plasma Gun, an NJ5-B SMG, and a Cluster Grenade. Tribes: Ascend is a fast-paced multi-player first person shooter with jetpacks, skiing, vehicles, classes, and customizable weapon unlocks and upgrades and looks cool as hell.
