Escape: Paradise is the first in a series of Crysis mods that focuses on utilizing the full potential of the Cryengine 2 for the purpose of creating a large, open, exploration/survival based game. Rumor Alert: Bethesda to publish S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2

Some could say that this is something surprising, but we’ve already heard those rumors about Bethesda acquiring the STALKER IP in the past. In fact, this rumor surfaced when STALKER 2 was cancelled. Although Sergey Grigorovich was quick to react and said that he did not sell the rights to Bethesda, there was definitely something weird going on in the background. And here we are today with Sergey Galyonkin, marketing director at 1C-Softclub Ukraine, unveiling some new – rumored – information about this acquisition on his blog. Are Square Enix and EIDOS gearing up for a new Deus Ex game?

An interesting video popped up on YouTube, featuring Stephen Shellen who was the voice behind David Sarif in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. According to the video, Shellen believes the Illuminati are coming for him, and his time is limited before he dies for real. Apparently, the Illuminati are spying on him at present, and he is due to die on July 30th 2012. We’ve seen countless of clever viral marketing tricks and this seems like one. Could Square Enix and EIDOS be gearing up for a new Deus Ex: Human Revolution DLC or a new Deus Ex game? After all, GamesCom is in a few days, meaning that this could very well be a hint for an upcoming announcement. Or is this simply Stephen trolling the gaming community? Seriously Left 4 Dead (SL4D) The Movie – Yet Another Short Film Based On Valve’s Zombie Game

Jason Forge has uploaded a new short film, based on Valve’s zombie FPS title. Seriously Left 4 Dead shows some footage of what is said to be the remains of 3 individuals on there short live journey through a highly infected zone outside of Savannah, Georgia. Now that’s bloody amazing. Machinima has uploaded the following mind-blowing machinima video of Skyrim that is based on Zack Snyder’s movie, 300. King Leonidas and his brave 300 Spartans fight to the death to protect Greece from the Persian Empire and their leader, King Xerxes. EA Sports Announces ‘FIFA Online 3’ For Korean Market

EA sent us a press release in which they announce Fifa Online 3 for the Korean market. The PC online soccer game based on the world’s best selling sports videogame franchise promises to bring the high quality gameplay synonymous with the EA SPORTS FIFA franchise to Korean gamers and soccer fans. Iranian First Person Shooter ‘Extraterrestrial Armies’ gets a debut trailer, first screenshots unveiled

Iranian gaming studio Raspina has released the first official trailer for their upcoming FPS title, Extraterrestrial Armies. E.T Armies is a first person shooter game in a unique science fiction world, designed to show Persian historical themes and rich environments. The main story of E.T Armies is a narrative case about the future human wars to provide the energy resources. Raspina aims to finish the game at the end of this year and as you can see, it features most of modern-day features such as scripted events and lens flares that can blind you. It looks interesting – and those running animations were kind of sweet – albeit a bit rough around the edges. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on it but until we have more information about it, go ahead and enjoy the first screenshots and the debut trailer from it. Skyrim Update 1.7 now available on Steam; Dawnguard news coming ‘soon’

Good news for PC gamers as Skyrim’s latest update, 1.7, is now available for all players. Bethesda did not reveal any changelog for it, so we can assume that it’s the same with one of its beta version. In addition, the patch will be submitted to consoles this week, meaning that X360 and PS3 gamers might get it in the coming days.
