Blizzard has revealed the changelog for Diablo III’s latest update that will go live tomorrow. Naturally, players won’t be prompted to download patch 1.0.4 until the patch is live in their home region. If you are logging in from a European or Asian client, you will need to wait for this patch to release in that region before it can be installed. Additionally, if your home region is the Americas, you will be unable to log into Europe or Asia using Global Play after patch 1.0.4 is live until those regions have also patched. Gamebase announced today that Shanda Interactive, a leading Chinese game developer and publisher, is using the Gamebryo engine to develop World Zero, a unique, MMORPG that allows users to create, manage and share their 3D virtual worlds. Obviously Gamebase could not acquire a better game engine, as we feel that Crytek’s CryEngine would be ideal for this kind of game. SpikySnail Games, today announced that The Splatters is currently in development for PC and Mac, and will be available on Steam as soon as the game is ready for release. The Splatters debuted on Xbox Live Arcade earlier this year and received a number of editor’s choice awards. Despite the critical acclaim for the XBLA version, SpikySnail is focused on re-imagining the game for the PC audience and will deliver a new version that builds on the success of the console game. Ubisoft announced that The Expendables 2 Videogame is now available on Xbox LIVE for 1200 Microsoft Points and PC for £11.99. The PSN version will be available on the 22/08. The Expendables 2 Videogame unites four of the world’s most legendary mercenaries – Barney Ross, Gunner Jensen, Hale Caesar and Yin Yang – in a feast of explosive over-the-top action, authentic to the Expendables franchise. OnLive, the pioneer of instant-action cloud computing, announced today that on August 17th all of its assets were acquired by a newly formed company that will continue to operate under the OnLive name. The OnLive Game and Desktop Services, all OnLive Devices and Apps, as well as all OnLive partnerships, are expected to continue without interruption and all customer purchases will remain intact; users are not expected to notice any change whatsoever. There is no doubt that Metal Gear Rising Revengeance’s original concept looked gorgeous. Good news for GTA fans as Rockstar has released three new screenshots for its upcoming open-world sandbox game, GTA V. Not only that, but the company has promised to release more screenshots later this week. These new images showcase some of the game’s vehicles and we can see that players will be able to ride a bike, drive cars and fly jets. Piranha Games has released a new trailer for MechWarrior Online that showcases the Hunchback 4G, a close-range brawler with thick armour and excellent weaponry. According to the company, the Hucnhback is hard to put down – and hard to defend against – as it’s capable of dealing as much damage as it can take.
