Amazing Alex – Rovio’s new puzzle game – is coming to the PC

Rovio Entertainment has announced that its newly released puzzle game, Amazing Alex, will be coming to the PC. Amazing Alex is physics-based puzzle that was launched on iOS and Android earlier this week. Amazing Alex has a set of 35 fully interactive objects just waiting to be set in motion and features around 100 levels. Fans can set the objects up to bounce, pop, ricochet, bash, and crash into each other and create an elaborate Rube Goldberg device. Fifa 13 PC Demo Is Now Available Via Origin

Here is some good and some bad news for all PC soccer fans. The good news is that Fifa 13’s PC demo has just been released. The bad news is that it can be downloaded via EA’s distribution service, Origin. And although we don’t mind that, we know that many of you don’t like this particular service. Therefore, if you might not even get to play this demo if you’re boycotting it. Still, you can view some matches from this demo below. Fifa 13 is currently planned for a September 28th release. Reddit’s member ‘dudelsac’ has shared some lovely images from Prachov Rocks, the most popular sandstone rock town in the Bohemian Paradise, Czech Republic. What’s really amazing here is the fact that these – real life – images can come really close to Skyrim’s environments. In fact, it’s really hard to distinguish between what is real and what is not. Surprising – All of Troika’s games returned a profit, company closed due to developing niche games

Much like Obsidian, Troika was a really talented team. Unfortunately though, its games suffered from a lot of bugs that were not fixed/addressed before their time of release. And although a lot of people think that Vampire: Bloodlines was a financial failure, Troika’s Timothy Cain revealed that all of Troika’s games returned a profit and that the company closed because it was developing games for niche markets. Frictional Games teases new information about its secret project; Amnesia sold one million copies

Great news for horror fans as Frictional Games’ indie horror FPS, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, has sold over one million copies. In a blog update at the company’s official website, Frictional Games’ Thomas, has revealed that Amnesia has sold – in total – around 1.4 million copies. This number included the sales that were made via HIB and the Potato Sack. Excluding them – and being optimistic – this number goes down to one million sold copies for this indie company. Hooray.
