BioWare and LucasArts announced today that players will face-off against the ruthless Hutt Cartel in the first Digital Expansion: Rise of the Hutt Cartel, coming Spring 2013. Beginning today, Star Wars: The Old Republic Subscribers can Pre-Order the Digital Expansion: Rise of the Hutt Cartel for only £5.99, 50% of the regular price. Free-to-Play Players can purchase the Digital Expansion for £11.99. Any player who pre-orders before January 7, 2013 will receive five days of Early Access* to the new fully-voiced story-driven content. Reset – New Spectacular Screenshots and Trailer

Back in April, we informed you about Reset, a Single player co-op first person puzzle game with emphasis on story and atmosphere. Reset looked stunning and better than anything we’d seen so far. Fast forward a couple of months and here we are today with a new tech trailer and screenshots for it. Even though the water is static on this tech demo, we have to say that the lighting system looks so… real. In all honesty, Reset could very well be the most impressive PC title – in terms of visuals – surpassing even Crysis 3 or other triple-A titles. All hell has broken loose, as The War Z – a zombie survival game that has almost the same name with ArmA II’s free mod, DayZ – has been released on Steam. Now getting this massive coverage from all over the world would be a good thing for Hammerpoint, unless of course people started claiming they were a bunch of liars and copycats, that they are offering a game that is faulty advertised, and that they do not support features that were listed on the game’s Steam page. Crytek’s CEO confirms that – and fails to explain why – Crysis 3 is a DX11-only title

Earlier this month, we posted Crysis 3’s official requirements. As those requirements suggested, Crysis 3 was planned to be a DX11-only title, something that was hinted by the game’s alpha beta stress test. However, and since Crytek did not officially comment on them, a lot of PC gamers believed that DX10 could be supported by the DX11 renderer, something that is happening in a lot of games. Unfortunately for those hoping for something like that, Crytek’s CEO Cevat Yerli revealed that Crysis 3 will be a DX11-only title. The Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack is available at no extra cost with the Limited or Deluxe Editions of Medal of Honor Warfighter — explore two new maps (Chitral Compound & Darra Gun Market), 10 map/mode combinations, 6 new weapon configurations and 14 new weapon camos.
