Our dear friends over at PCGamesHardware have captured the first gameplay footage of Double Fine’s Broken Age that was showcased during this year’s Gamescom. Broken Age is a point-and-click adventure telling the stories of a young boy and girl leading parallel lives. The girl has been chosen by her village to be sacrificed to a terrible monster–but she decides to fight back. Meanwhile, a boy on a spaceship is living a solitary life under the care of a motherly computer, but he wants to break free to lead adventures and do good in the world. Electronic Arts has released a new Gamescom 2013 trailer for Respawn’s Titanfall via which players can experience Titanfall’s fast-paced, vertical combat, featuring Attrition Mode on a new map called Angel City. Warner Bros has released a Gamescom 2013 trailer for its upcoming Batman title, Batman: Arkham Origins. This new trailer reveals a new assassin who is no other than Firefly. Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Electronic Arts has announced that episodic, story-driven Campaign Missions are in development for Command & Conquer and will be available early next year. The next installment of the award-winning real-time strategy franchise from Victory Games will launch in 2013 as a free* live service, with an emphasis on continually adding new content to the game, such as Campaign Missions, based on fan feedback. Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Watch Dogs in which we discover DedSec, the most famous hacker group in the universe of Watch_Dogs and hear their message of truth: “The ctOS system is flawed, it is time to wake up!”. Electronic Arts has released a new, gameplay, trailer for the current-gen version of Fifa 14. The PC version will be based on this, so get ready for another round of ‘well, most PC systems are not powerful enough which is why we decided to do this’ comments.
