You know what? Deathsquad’s podcast with Cliff Bleszinski is really, really interesting. First and foremost, that podcast revealed some of the new features of Bleszinski’s upcoming title. Secondly, in that podcast Bleszinski claimed that Xbox One and PS4 are nothing impressive (as they are more of the same) compared to Oculus Rift. Frontier Developments announced today that the alpha phase for Elite: Dangerous is a go. As the company hinted, this announcement follows Frontier’s announcement on 18 October 2013 that the Alpha phase would launch in December 2013.
