Portalarium has announced the first release of Garriott’s Shroud of the Avatar fantasy role-playing game. Backers of the crowd funded project today can log in to their accounts, download the client, create a character and begin to wander and explore the streets of Owl’s Head, the game’s first town open for business. You know what? Deathsquad’s podcast with Cliff Bleszinski is really, really interesting. First and foremost, that podcast revealed some of the new features of Bleszinski’s upcoming title. Secondly, in that podcast Bleszinski claimed that Xbox One and PS4 are nothing impressive (as they are more of the same) compared to Oculus Rift. And finally, Bleszinski threw his glove at Epic Games, claiming that there was constantly somebody who doubted Bleszinski’s ideas. Elite: Dangerous – Alpha Phase Launches, New Trailer Released
Frontier Developments announced today that the alpha phase for Elite: Dangerous is a go. As the company hinted, this announcement follows Frontier’s announcement on 18 October 2013 that the Alpha phase would launch in December 2013.
