DOOM fan tries to recreate a 100K Revenants map, runs immediately into SnapMap limitations

It appears that while DOOM’s SnapMap is kind of cool, it’s not as powerful or as friendly to modders, and comes with a lot of limitations. As we can see below, YouTube’s ‘MarphitimusBlackimus’ has tried to recreate a map with 100K Revenants, and ran immediately into SnapMap’s limitations. MarphitimusBlackimus was unable to create such a map, as he was limited to 64 Revenants (and 21 empty rooms). Homefront: The Revolution – PC Performance Analysis

Homefront: The Revolution is a game that went through development hell. The first game was developed by Kaos Studios and after the closure of THQ, the game’s rights were sold to Crytek UK. Crytek UK started developing the game but was unable to finish it. The game’s rights were then sold to Koch Media and the development duties were assumed by Dambuster Studios. And after a number of delays, Homefront: The Revolution has just been released on the PC. So, time now to find out how this title performs on the PC platform.
