The Legend of Zelda NES Remake in Unreal Engine 4

You can now download a free 3D remake of The Legend of Zelda NES in Unreal Engine 4

Now here is something that passed under my radar. Shame on me, I know. But anyway, it appears that someone has remade and shared a beta version of the classic The Legend of Zelda NES game in Unreal Engine 4.

The Legend of Zelda Era Of Decline Project is a faithful remake of the first Zelda game that came out on NES. This project retains the top-down viewpoint, but it features new 3D models for Link and all of his enemies. It also has re-designed environments and new/custom assets. In short, this is exactly what we’d be getting from a faithful remake of this Zelda game. And, in a way, it reminds me of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.

I also don’t expect Nintendo to shut it down. At least I hope not. After all, this project has been live for over a year. So, unless it passed under its radar, this project should be safe. Still, I suggest downloading it while you still can. I mean, this is Nintendo we’re talking about so you never know.

Those interested can download the latest beta version of The Legend of Zelda Era Of Decline Project from this link.

Speaking of free Unreal Engine 4 projects, we highly recommend taking a look at these others. Earlier today, we shared some screenshots from an upcoming faithful remake of Resident Evil 2 in Unreal Engine 4. You can also download a prototype remaster of the first classic Unreal game in UE4. Then we have this upcoming remake of Need for Speed Underground 2. Oh, and you can download a free Attack On Titan VR game. For our dinosaur fans, there is also a Dino Crisis 2 Fan Remake in Unreal Engine 4 that you can download. This project is a bit rough but I’m sure most Dino Crisis fans will find it cool since we may never get a new official game.

Have fun!

Reporting about it has already shut it down. Now you can blame every author who wrote about it and a lil bit the dev for releasing it before finishing it. Not that i want to blame about the dev because its a f**king good remaster.

    1. Yeap, it was taken down. Read at the comments though in that page and you’ll find an alternative link to it 😉

  3. WTF and here we have it again – The POS Shitheads at Nintendo strikes again!
Hope no one buys their games at all. To bad people do!

Viva emulation – Yuzu to the Rescue!

  4. Idiot that wrote/posted this article is responsible for getting the project pulled. DSOGAMING is a group of poorly educated clowns that offer nothing to humanity. These 🤡 would kill their own mothers for clicks.
